Frog Hollow Golf Club

Another great day at Frog Hollow. Greens are good the fairways are good, and the rough is short. But some of the traps are unplayable and all of the par 3's tees are temporary.and the other tees are functional. I for one would not let the conditions of a few traps [they have a lot of them that are very playable] stop me from playing here. Did I mentioned that they have a bar with a happy hour, just saying.....

Frog hollow is always a great place to play. For early in the season, it’s in above average condition. Got a great deal from GolfNow, but would gladly pay $45-$50. Never seems to disappoint.

First time playing here. It has a nice layout. Should green up in a few weeks.

Good for $14 on Golf Now. Cold and windy and I played my worse in a long tim. My fault, not the course.

Getting out on the 9th of March can be hit or miss and today was a hit with the weather. I paired up with three other guys for an 11:40am round of golf. I was walking and the three of them in carts. With all of the other people out on the course today, there was never an issue with me walking while they rode. We waited on most holes, but nothing outrageous or upsetting to me.

The course was in good condition considering the amounts of rain and snow recently and the only true downside I saw with the course were the maintenance of the bunkers. What made them even worse were the lack of rakes anywhere. Finding yourself in a bunker is bad enough, but when you land in a footprint or worse, it truly makes things worse.

I love the layout and for today’s Price it was well worth my time driving down since courses near me still have snow on them.

Layout is varied. Several very challenging holes. Greens are normally a bit fast and most are not flat. You need to be able to read them, otherwise, hello 3 putt. I play 10 different courses in the area, Frog Hollow ranks high on my list.

It had snowed recently, but we decided to give it a go anyway. The course drains very well. Except for the one hole that was cart path only, the fairways were fairly dry. Many sand traps were filled with water, but just don't hit them there. The greens rolled well.

It was a beautiful fall afternoon the greens were smooth and fast challenging cup placement on the slopes made it very difficult, which was a great challenge at the end of the season.

Well maintained course with an overall great layout. Bunkers were just hard sand, like hitting off a dirt road. But other than that no complaints.. Greens were fast and true with the exception of people not repairing there divots. I spent several minutes on each green going around doing other people’s divots, but I can’t blame the greenskeepers for that.

Love this golf course. It is always in great condition, very well maintained and will give you a good challenge. It was hot (90's), but they had water on the course and a golf cart lady was coming around every three holes with ice and water or you could by gatoraid to keep hydrated. After your round you can eat in their clubhouse. Very reasonable golf rates for this course. Well worth the play!!
