Heron Glen Golf Course

Heron Glen was great to play this weekend. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The pace of play was excellent, especially given the current restrictions during C-19. No issues at all, rangers were out ensuring play moved along at a good pace. Hopefully the greens will firm up and play faster soon.

Nice course. Not to difficult and laid out well. Everything in good shape and well run. I'd go back.

I drove 1.5 hours to check this place out and I have no regrets that I did. It is a very nice layout, playability with wide fairways and a true to the land aesthetic. Environmentally conscious is a plus too. No real hidden tricks and you can choose your angles to approach the greens. Penalty for bad shots were appropriate and the greens were undulating and fun. Conditions were excellent. It deserves the high rating it has. Fun golf.

Course was in good shape for mid March. Greens were firm and running well. Bunkers were well groomed and fluffy. Can’t wait for the course to green up should be earlier than usual.

It is a great course. My only complaint is that it was cart path only; and will be until April 1, no matter what the conditions. This was not communicated on the booking page or website.

Not cold but slightly chilly. Cart path only after the rain we've had. I played like crap but had a good time.

Great course and layout. Due to recent rains course was very soggy in some spots, especially the fairways. We had some walkers in front of us and slowed us up considerably. Due to winter season there were no drinks or food available after nine or eighteen holes. Would play this course again and hopefully it will be drier and warmer.

This is a very nice course and excellent layout. Fairways were in great shape however there were a few that were spongy like. The greens were hard to read since there was sand on them and could not get a decent average speed in putting. The rest of my group were complaining, is this why we got this round cheap. Overall the weather was a little chilly, course in good shape, and we were out golfing in January.

Super friendly Pro Shop Staff. Fantastic course! Great deal! A must play. So happy they opened for this weekend during the Holidays! 48 degrees and sunny. Loved it! Worth the two hour drive from Upstate New York! Wide fairways, great FUN layout, and superb condition in December! Played 36 and had a blast!
