Great staff
Amazing place to play. One of the best public courses you will find. Staff is amazing and conditions are always spectacular!
Heron Glen
I always enjoy playing this course. Played the last week of November and the course
is in great shape. All the fairways,greens and tee boxes were clear of leaves.
The pro shop staff was very accommodating as was the restaurant staff.
Can’t wait for spring.

Enjoyed the round , tee boxes are great for this time of year , greens are fine...well kept course
Hidden gem
By far Heron Glen is one of my favorite courses. I play Heron Glen whenever I can. The conditions are always excellent, the course is challenging both front and back. However with good ball striking and placement you can score well. I have to travel 45. Minutes to get there, never a let down. Keep it up Heron Glen.
Heron Glen
Nice track, fair and challenging. It's November and the greens were in good shape and a little quick in some spots. Played 11/11 62 deg , sun and no wind... perfect day for golf. Would 100% like to play it again. Booked 11/12 through golf now, realized my mistake at the check in in the pro shop, staff gave me a free pass to play without even a blink. thankful
its ok.
The course is, its ok not exactly fit for the price range.. too high for that rate. the course worth $40 or less. I played lot of golf course that is more reasonable than that, and very beautiful course. the lay out , how they maintain the course that make you go back and play over and over again... that course is over price and is not top quality.. sorry that is my observation.. I know its NJ taxes. I am just being honest what I see and be in it..
You won't find a better county course
Everything was 5*. Course condition, layout,green speed,staff friendliness, every hole was unique,wide enough fairways,plenty of consistant well manicured sand bunkers,little slow pace on back up on final nine. Clubhouse had good menu cold beer,drinks & Good food.Overall excellent golf day!
Fun course
Had a great day at Heron Glen.Staff was great. they did a nice job on the clubhouse.Last time they were working out of trailers.
Excellent condition
Had played the course once last year and wanted to get back.
It was better than I remembered.
Course was in great shape.
The practice facility is terrific as well
