Heron Glen Golf Course

Doesn’t get much better than this for a public course experience. Highly recommended. Great shot values. Fun layout. Challenging and fair.

Course is great. Conditions very good. Love the new clubhouse. Pace of play was rough. The group in fromt skipped a group at yhe turn and we got stuck. 2.5 hrs for back nine. Ouch.

My favorite course to play. Friendly layout with some challenges thrown in. Course is in great condition. Great value.

Course is in good shape with a good variety of holes. There are some blind shots and forced carries which I was not aware. Knowledge of the course is very important. Finding fairways is premium since hitting into the rough is almost always a lost ball. Pace of play was good and staff very friendly.. wish there were more tee time deals in Golfnow or Teeoff..very hard to get a good deal..especially on weekends

Let me start by saying I played a lot of golf this week. I took off from work and played well over 100 holes. The 18 holes I played at Heron Glen topped them all.

I drove 2 hours to play here and I wasn't disappointed. This course is outstanding in every way. The tees, fairways, greens, and bunkers were all really fantastic for a public facility. Visually, the course is beautiful. It's helpful to buy the yardage book since there are quite a few blind shots scattered around the course. I would've been in trouble without the book (and the helpful players I played with who played there regularly) After playing Neshanic Valley last year, I knew I had to make the trip down this way againfor Heron Glen since a lot of people liked to compare the two courses when I asked about them.

I arrived about 30 minutes early for my 7:30am tee-time, and was at the tee box about 15 minutes early. But unfortunately the group before my group didn't show up, and the starter sent the group I was paired up with, out early. I was a little bummed I had to start on the second hole, but when I came back after finishing the 18th, the starter promptly got me out on the first so that I could play all 18. Much appreciated Allen.

Overall, I'd highly recommend this course. Even if you have to drive a couple of hours to get there, like myself, it's worth the drive.

Bring sunscreen, very little shade.

Though it is expensive, it is worth paying a higher price. Beautiful course views, great layout, good conditions, playable for golfers of intermediate-advanced levels. Will be playing again.

I drive almost an hour to play Heron Glen routinely, because I think it's that good of a course. The layout is my favorite in NJ, and rivals some of the best private clubs in the state. My rating on a golf course is usually dependent on whether I remember the holes after the round, and I always remember all the holes at Heron Glen. It's not only a great course with fair pricing, but it's a great facility now with the new clubhouse, and the people who work there could not be more friendly. Seriously my favorite golf course among many gems in the Garden State.

The course is in terrific condition and it is a fun, challenging layout. The clubhouse and dining facility are top notch.

Only problem was pace of play

We were well ahead of pace , then hit a wall on five. Slow the rest of the way. Tee off on time at 16:42 but only finished 16 holes

Well maintained course. Great layout and fast greens.

This was the first time playing Heron Glen. The conditions were wonderful. It is a very walkable course; you'll get a work-out, but it's very doable.

The layout is interesting and with the multiple tees, it was easy to select a set that was challenging without being punishing. I found it to be very woman friendly.

Definitely going to play it again!

The course was in perfect condition and the new club house is beautiful. Pace of play was a little slow but it was Memorial Day.

Course is in great shape. I played two rounds in 8 hours (4.5Hours/3.5Hours). Replay rate is $20, which was a steal. Great amenities: grass range, putting green. Great pro shop and food was good. Will be back.

I am from Spokane. WA and saw this course on Golfnow special.

It had drenched by heavy rain for days. It was golf cart only. The Starter Mr. Gary paired me with a regular player, Mr. Kevin.

It was a very fun round with Mr. Kevin showing me the course layout and how to maneuver around the course!

This course is a definite to be played again when I am in Warminster again.

Heron Glen is one of my favorite courses in the SE PA/ Central NJ area. The course was in great shape for the time of year. As with every other course in the region, Heron Glen's greens were aerated. This made the greens slower but did not otherwise affect putting. Course provided a complimentary lunch (sandwich, chips, & drink) because of the aeration, which was a nice touch. Catching a Hot Deal only makes it a better experience.

Excellent course will play every time I see it on Golf now
