Cypresswood Golf & Country Club

I have played this course for many years. The layout is good, and pretty long - 6500 yards from the white tees. Even though the greens were all redone a few years back, they are still a problem. Hopefully they get a handle on them soon!

Even after it rain, the course was in excellent shape.

We played this course in early November & we’re not very impressed but today round was a lot better. Most of the Course; Tee’s, Fairways, Bunkers & Greens have improved tremendously so well done to the Cypresswood Team👏

It was a bit cool when we set off at 10:30am but soon warmed up and my wife & I enjoyed our round. The pace of play was ok but a bit of a hold up on the back 9 when a group 4 in front of us held everyone up while they individually sorted out their Refreshment Carts Orders leaving 3 different groups on the Tee.

All in all very please with the course and will play again.

Very good design. For better players , high end shot values.

Greens , some in tough condition , others are just fine.

Green complexes ( chipping areas ) a bit rough.

With some tender , loving care , this course can be elevated because the layout itself is one of the best in this area.

The golf course is nice but There are a few holes that are a little too close to the road. Makes you not want to take a full swing and a few houses the same. And as for the pathways that are going down, each hole are so bumpy. You don’t want to drive on them especially if you have a sore back, like I do. They need to at least fill in the big potholes

As a.new Players Card Customer, I am disappointed in both course conditions and pro shop staff. The starter was very friendly, but “Grumpy Guy” checking me in and the ragged course conditions do not meet my expectations. I’ll use my discount card until I have recouped the cost, but look elsewhere if you like to be rewarded for a fairway finder by a decent lie.

I played Cypresswood last year, and although not great, it was passible. This year the greens are horrible. Bare patches, one had a filled in ravine zigzagging all the way across it, ball would bounce along, weed grass patches, divots. Fairways were brown and dry and roughs were not cut. I won’t be back until improvements are made. What a shame to let it get this bad.

I have played this course several times. The staff are all very nice. Have found it quite easy to get convenient tee times. It’s a nice course. A few of the greens could use some work, but overall, a very playable course.

Decent shape. Greens rolled ok. Waited on most shot and still played in 4 hours 15 minutes. Good time

Location s of putting whole on the greens should be re-evaluated so that chance of boggy is fare too more variety

Of skilled golf players with various handicappe scores

Please move your holes on the green too make the game more playable to all types and ages of player !!!!!!

The course needs some work but in very good condition compared to other courses of similar cost. Nice layout that makes to really think about course management if you're a big hitter. Pace of play can be slow when they are busy. Overall I would recommend if you're in the area to check this course out.

Course in general has not been kept up. Same conditions as last year. Perhaps the hurricane has slowed them down
