Desert gym
Based on some reviews, I was hesitant if I would enjoy the course. I loved the course. In great shape. Negative reviews for saying no sand in bunkers. That is correct, no sand in the bunkers but that's overthinking the course. You are in the high desert so the dirt in the bunkers is just part of it. If having to hit out of the bunkers is an issue just don't hit your ball into the bunker. Love the way the course weaves in and out of the community. I plan on going many more times.

nice course with some great hole layouts, love the open and off, fairway friendly this course was. me and my wife both enjoyed. would recommend and come play again

Sand traps a few bin repair but a lot still rough
Friends just take a drop to the rocks or hard sand traps

Has potential but needs serious maintenance
This used to be a very nice and well kept course. Yesterday when I played, the roughs were 6-8 inches of grass with dandelions and scattered bits of trash everywhere making finding your ball nearly impossible if you didn’t hit the fairway, there were weeds scattered throughout and rocks in the sand traps. The tee boxes weren’t much better. The greens were the only things that were halfway kept up. This used to be may favorite course to play in the high desert but I will not be returning until they get their act together.

Never again
The lack of communication with this course and with golf now, has been a very unpleasant experience. I will never be coming back. Beyond frustrated.

Sanded Greens
I play Ashwood fairly regularly and enjoy the course. I seem to always have a knack of showing up the day of, I or after, they sanded the greens! Kinda sucks for putting but my game as a whole sucked too! Rough could use some mowing but overall I felt the course was ease t as usual and I'll be there again

Fun and challenging course
I play here usually a couple times a month. I like Ashwood.
The course is challenging with narrow fairways, an abundance of bunkers and water hazards.
Most of the bunkers still need some attention, but see that better sand has been added to a few.
The wind also comes into play at this time of the year.
The staff is always friendly and I totally recommend to course to new golfers that what a challenge or a seasoned golfer.

The course was ok, probably better then most in the area due to weather and time of year.
