Overpriced Golf Club Rentals!
The course is pretty nice, fees were very fair and the staff were nice. However, the golf club rentals for 9 holes was ridiculous- $60! And, the driver I rented, was so loose, I couldn’t use it. The sprinklers were on at one hole which was a nuisance, and got me all wet while playing a ball. Also, the maintenance workers were mowing the course fairways on three different holes, while we were golfing and that was super distracting. One worker acted as we were on his way, and continued as we did not exist. I was golfing with my son, who I had not seen in almost one year, due to his military deployment, and he desperately wanted to golf during his visit. I raved to him about this course, but we were both a bit disappointed with today’s experience.

We apologize for the issues with the club rentals; The Callaway Elyte is the latest and greatest from Callaway, and the rental fee is set for $60 with two sleeves of logo Callaway supersoft and a bag pouch for you to keep.
We are disappointed that you did not have the best time while visiting us and the maintenance disruptions during your round.

Sand Traps
The bunkers were very inconsistent. I was just about in one per hole😂. Most were hard and rocky(pebbles) some were muddy and only one that I noticed was actual sand.

I love Ashwood
I reall Like Ashwood. The staff and the fact that there are 3, 9 hole courses to play. The courses themselves are on the shorter side with only par 3’s and 4’s, but they are challenging with narrow fairways, lots of bunkers and water hazards. The course seems to be improving all the time. Most of the bunkers need help and most need to be racked of the rocks that are in them. There does seem to get a lot of players that have no idea or etiquette, with groups of 5 or more players, most have no business being on any golf course, much less a mini- gilf golf course. I saw a few groups that where driving over the greens and tee boxes.
Another nice feature is the driving range where you actually hit off of grass.
The staff is always friendly and helpful. I will always play Ashwood and recommend this course.

Great course to tune-up on.
Ashwood is a great place to work on your game. One of the nicer courses in the High Desert, and other than holidays and weekends the pace of play is great.
