Mountain Meadows Golf Course

They never mentioned anything about the course going through aerification !!!!! They had the audacity to charge $46 for a horrible experience on the course. The greens looked like sand traps and they were punching the back nine as we were playing. They had at least 5 temporary holes and the fairways were flooded and the grass was very thick. Couldn’t find your golf balls !!! This place was terrible. They do have a great restaurant though. Food was good and drinks were cold. Great service and server working that day.

Great course. Greens were awesome. Fairways a little slushy from the rain.

Entire golf course was flooded due to recent rain.

They shorten hole 15&16 to par 3 instead of par5 and par4.

Course shouldn’t have open for business.

They charged the full price of $59.50.

I demand that they give my money back…

850 tee time, 3/24/23:

Pros: Greens were healed and in great condition, rough was actually penalizing and long due to recent wet weather.

Cons: Cart path only due to recent wet weather. Holes 15 and 16 were converted to sub 100 yard par 3s for the same reason with no notice prior to paying at the shop. I'm not a scientist or a course superintendent. But a giant grass covered hill with golf holes on it should drain better than this. Many fairways were basically marshes. It would have been nice to know all this ahead of time before overpaying.

The course had great greens . Soft but roles true . Rest of the course was junk . They usually dont have water problems but they were in bad shape right now . 2nd and 3rd cut were terrible . Weekday . Wild flowers . Bunkers were rock hard and not racked . Wait at least two months before trying this course .

This is one of my favorite courses in SoCal. A challenging layout- but generous fairways and very playable. The elevation changes make hitting fairways a must.

The greens are in very good shape- but are rolling very fast.

If I can give a 0 star I would. I reserved for 4 players and 1 of them got covid symptoms and couldn't make it. Showed up and let course know because it was too late to call the day before and couldn't cancel through this weak application. I let the starter know and she just said, they will charge for the no show. I explained the situation and she wasn't hearing it. I asked if there was a single that she can put on with us and she said no. I proceed to go to the tee box and a single shows up and they placed him in between a 4some and my group that had 3. The course could of easily placed him in my group but thet didn't. Now I'm being charged the full amount for the 4th player that got covid. Even though the single could of covered the golfnow reservation. Now the course will make double the $$ on one single spot. Greedy course, greedy staff that didn't want to even attempt to help me out. 0 stars all around and especially the starter. Stop letting golfnow and courses like this rip off the customers. Things happen within 24 hrs that we don't have control of and then get punished for. Ridiculous.

Don’t buy range balls. You’ll ever get a spot at the range unless you’re there first thing in the morning. Worst pace of play I have ever experienced and no Marshall to monitor it. My wife and I left after 6 holes of waiting 15-20 minutes on every shot because off the group in front of us only to be hit into by the group behind us.

Start time 10:40... wait time 10min... 5th hole 3 parties wait.. only played 9 too busy

Fun course, however, pace of place was absolutely horrendous. Played here for the first time today, 1/22. Literally had to wait on every hole and on hole 13 there were 4 groups waiting to tee off. Only ended up playing 14 holes and left after 4.5 hrs..

In spite of heavy rains earlier in the week, the course was in good shape with few limitations. The only real frustration in playing was the terrible player unwillingness to repair divots on greens! Most I've ever seen on a public golf course! After repairing 8 - 10 or so per green for the majority of the round, I finally gave up on others and only repaired those I made. Come on people!

But, it is a fun course, no doubt.

MM is a great public course for the money with really solid amenities, but they continue to suffer from pacing issues. We were stuck behind an incredibly slow and poor playing foursome today but the “ambassador” wouldn’t talk to them. If you’re not okay with waiting avoid MM.

That being said the course is always really well maintained.

hole no 10 (wtih a big tree in the middle left and a bunker to its right and a very small grees, 12 (they need to open up the left side ore to help pace of play as all slicers will be looking for their balls in the right ditch like area and 13 is unplayable especially which is over 200 yds against the wind always blowing towards the canyon.
