Nice Public Course!
This course was in great shape given that we played in November. The fairways were green and healthy and the greens were in very good condition. Thankfully, not too much water to contend with, and plenty of elevation change, with beautiful backdrops of the San Gabriel Mountains. My only constructive feedback is that the club should not charge for 18 holes when there are no tee times earlier than 2:40pm when it gets dark at 4:45pm.
Other than that, this was a great experience.
First time playing course. Got a kick seeing deer on the course. Challenging course for beginners but moderate for experienced players.
First time playing here and only played nine holes this course was somewhat challenging on its par fives but other than that it was very laid out
nice course
I have not played the course in a number of years, but the course was in excellent shape, however the pace of play was slow - almost 5 hours.
Slow
Slow. Slow, slow
Marshall's need to Marshall and not just be seen. People don't rake bunkers or fix ball marks. Marshall's need to Marshall.
The Meadow
Course was is in decent condition. Sand traps were 50/50 - fairways were pretty good and the greens still need another week. Practice green was awesome though. Range is closed Wednesday am which sucks but at least the restaurant is open.
Aerating 1 week earlier than plan
Website showed they planned on aerating the greens on 10/4, instead the 1st 4 greens were being worked on 8 days ahead of that. No notification from the pro shop. Then the pace slowed to a crawl after those holes. Course was in good shape otherwise.
