Mountain Meadows Golf Course

the only complaint is that people in groups ahead are playing multiple balls and very slow ,taking too much time looking for lost balls

When are these public courses going to learn? They were running 45-60 late by 8:00 AM. How is this possible? They need to just be up front and book tee times in 9-10 minute intervals The crazy thing is when we made the turn, there were no people on holes 1-5. This is why golf is hurting. No one wants to book a time, show up 45 minutes early to practice and then be an hour late teeing off. Not everyone gets to tee off at 8:00 am, but if you book the time you should get to go on time

The course overbooked their tee time. By the time we made it to the 3rd hole, we were piled up like sardines. It took us 3 hours to play 9. When we asked for a rain check for the last nine, the manager said he'll send me an email. I informed him I'm from out of town and will be leaving Sunday the 27th. He till hasn't gotten to his computer to send me an email. Poor customer service.

$19 bucks on golf now at 4. Great deal. Was able to finish easily. The rough was quite long. Hard to find ball on errant shots. But greens were great.

Were fully prepared for a slow Sunday round of golf. We were able to tee off 35 mins early as a twosome. We didn't have a single group ahead of us the whole front side. We caught up to the group ahead of us on the 13th hole. Only hole we had to wait on was the 18th tee. Sub 4hr round in LA on a Sunday! Weather was warm but had a nice breeze. Course was in ok shape... Greens were nice.

Not all that happy when we were a threesome paired with a twosome and watched a twosome tee off ahead of us. Make sure you bring cash for the food and bar. Thursdays the range opens late for maintaienance which would have been nice to know.

my son and i played here on a saturday morning. the only conclusion we both came to was that we would never ever come play here on a weekend again.not only was our tee time delayed over a half hour,but the starter let a foursome go ahead of us(we also had a foursome),and they had already played the back nine.mgmt. allowed this to happen even on a crowded weekend morning.we were all fuming to say the least.it took our foursome almost 6 hrs. to play a round of golf.ridiculous! it's too bad because i've played here many times during the week and like the challenge of the course.they really need to look at the spacing of the tee times so there is a good flow to the starts and a better pace of play(isn't that what most courses encourage?)they sure are quick to take your money and then pile up the players at #1 tee! WEEKENDS ARE OUT!

This is a awesome course to build true golf experience..

the course was good, to many fivesomes the group in front of us was 4 holes behind I asked marshall if he could get them moving and he said thats the way it is here we let people play at there own pace. bunkers were wet and unplayable, greens and fairways were good

The course was in good shape, with a few greens a little bumpy but played in afternoon. the mountainous terrain was challenging and correct club selection is a must.

First off, staff was very friendly! The course was in great shape. Fairways were groomed nicely and the greens were outstanding! I would definately come back and play this course and recommend to all my friends.

Played on a Thursday, so pace was no problem. Course is in good condition.It's a tough one to walk, so I ride if it's hot out.

Nice course, hardly any OB, no homes, decent conditions. Lots of elevation changes, dog legs, and good mix of challenging/fair holes. The pace of play was painful at over 5 hours...

Decent Course for a muni, some holes are very challenging, have always like the layout.

But, Too many fivesomes!!!! On the weekend too!!

Good value for under $50 course. Green is challenge. Staff is nice.

this is one is we could be proud and blessed to be able to play this course ! iim juz trying to say be supportive to our local homecourses w/c we really do have excellent golf courses to be in our proximity .(like to mention like Rancho Park, the 2 griffith courses Harding N Wilson or i could drive like 20 to 25 mns N could b playing like El Dorado maybe d skylinks @ LB city ) but honestly this courses are in good playin conditions that im locally plugging!

Even in the middle of the fairway there are no good lies on this course. Fun course I've played it for years now but the medows keep getting steeper!

Had a couple of out of own friends coming to visit, so I took them to MM to have some fun. It turned out to be a huge disappointment. Our tee time was booked at 10:20 am on a Thursday morning. I was hoping to have a 4.5 hrs run, and budgeted 5.5 hrs.

We checked in 30 minutes before our tee time, and were sent out 50 minutes later, 20 minutes behind our reserved time. From there, things were getting worse hole by hole. Every hole you have to wait 5 to 10 minutes to tee off. At #4 hole, we counted three grps waiting at the tee, and one group on the fairway, and one group on the green.

I found out this is a patent of American Golf managed courses: very tight spacing between groups and allowing five some's. This will translate to very slow pace. We ended up finishing the run in 6 hrs.

About the course condition: The tee boxes and fairways are at MM's typical condition which is OK and on par with most of the muni courses in the area. However, the greens are very bumpy. They let grass grow a bit to long and unevenly cut, so some greens are slow and some are fast. It is tough to judge the speed.

It was a bad experience playing here. Although I like the layout of the course, I won't be back if the pace of play is not improving.
