Bumpy greens and fairways. Brown spots all over. We played there many times and this is the worst time of the year. By the way, they discontinued the free hot dog and cold drink for Hot Deal customers.

Enjoyed staff interactions. Friendly. Pace of play was good. Great Value. Challenging course.

I love this facility.. Playing.. Eating..

And recommend to my friends.

Even though it's hotter than my city during the summer.

However yesterday course layout was terrible..

But I understand maybe lts special (FATHER'S) DAY..

So I'll come back and play again.

Unfortunately tops course is a prime example of what happens when corporations own golf courses and not private individuals or groups. This course has so much potential but is so poorly run. The front desk had a young man with minimal to zero customer service skills, when asked about a cart, he just pointed at a basket of keys and really seemed like he couldn’t care less about being there. There was no starter, so starting around me tee time at 10:24, groups were already behind and it didn’t get better once the round started. There was also no Marshall keeping up pace of play, which is why at the 2 and half hour mark and having just barely teed off on 8, I called it a day. Nearly 3 hours for 9 holes is ridiculous regardless of the day and time. The only reason this review got a 2 is because the course was actually in decent shape. Fairways and greens were in really good shape and are the only saving grace of the course. Last time I will be playing here for sure.

The one thing you need to know is that this course maintains SLOW greens. If that's OK for you then this course is maintained fairly well with groomed bunkers. It is a flat non-discript layout. Like most public courses there are bare spots, especially in the rough. Pace of play was excellent, mostly 2-somes. We had no delays playing mid-day during the week.

Shandon is one of the beater golf values still out there. In this post BS pandemic (golf) world we live in, this course still can offer a decently priced value. The course is in decent shape and for the first time in forever it wasn’t full to overflowing with “golfers” who should prob spend a few rounds of money getting lessons if they seriously want to play this wonderful game. Hope it stays this way but not holding my breath.

Decent public course that I’d definitely hit again!

Public courses are typically slow play and this didn’t disappoint on that statement.

Greens are about ready to be cut so they’ll roll a lot more true.

The greens were in the best shape I’ve seen them in a long time. It’s a bit patchy in the fairways but nothing unmanageable. I’ve never had this issue before playing here but the pace of play was horrible. We got stuck behind a threesome that took 5 1/2 hours to play. They played multiple balls on a lot of the holes, and had no courtesy at all. Having a Marshall patrolling the course would really help keep a reasonable pace of play.

This place is worse than awful...went for the 1st time and last time today

Let's see.....cart was given away to someone else....there is no starter here.....no Marshall to keep the pace.....no lie a homeless man just walked across the 4th and just planted himsef under a shade tree.....the cart lady was writing down credit card numbers for drinks...I didn't not buy anything to give a Stanger my credit card number...the people ahead of us were picking up golfballs ..our balls while playing them!!!!..the asfault cart paths were pathetic....the amount of non direction from hole to hole was every hole....the amount of dirt patches just pathetic.....don't waste your money

Such a sad day....buddy booked us on golf now .......just unbelievable this place
