Shandin Hills Golf Club

Course was in rough condition. Pace was decent. Price is the only thing going for this course. Wouldn’t mind them charging a little extra if it meant that the course we be better maintained.

46$ for this course is ridiculous. I didnt know the course conditions before the round and didnt know what to expect. But this is by far the worst course i have ever played at in my life. the fairways are dirt as well as the cartpaths. The course is literally just a pile of dirt and rocks with greens scattered around. never play here. Go to sierra lakes instead.

There was a foursome in front of us who was behind three holes. We called the proshop and was advised no marshall working, mind you it’s a weekend and the course was full of players. We had to skip a hole just to pass these guys. If you are looking to have a good pace of play, this is not the place.

Golf and breakfast sandwhich is great deal. Course in pretty good shape for winter season.

A lot of sand traps in the middle of the fairways and surrounding the greens. The only issue with the sand traps near the greens were they were spotty on rather or not they were hard sand or soft. I get the fairway holes being hard, but why half and half near the greens.

I played solo, the group behind me was a twosome, followed by a solo and another twosome. Took nearly 3 hours to play the front 9 because two foursomes, a threesome and then a fivesome in front of them that took forever. I skipped hole 10 so I can could get in front of the two foursomes, but ended up catching the 3some who let me play through. Eventually, I caught the 5some on the greens on 12, where I had to wait for them to putt (took 10 minutes). Before they even got to the tee-box, I was done putting and back in the car waiting. They all tee'd off before they realized that I was behind them, they allowed me to tee off and I was able to get through. From there I flew through the remainder of the holes.

As far as the course, it is pretty open to the right, always seemed tight on the left with either homes or the freeway to play out of bounds.

This was only my second time playing in the last few months and had been 5 years since my last time I played. I shot a +16 (88) from the middle tee's and if I wasn't rushing to get over the back 9, I'd probably would have finished with a +13, but missed a 4 foot putt after just missing the eagle. Not to mention a few other holes that I was rushing to get in and out of the back green. Played the 10th on my way back in to complete my round. A nice course, just super slow play and as I read other reviews, it wasn't just that day as it appears it's the biggest issue with the course.

Do not waste your money. No way this should be a 4 star. Terrible shape and painfully slow. GO ELSEWHERE.

This was awful. Course conditions were brutal except the greens. The pace was almost 6 hours waiting ten minutes or more on every tee box. There is no way this should have 4 stars on GolfNow. I wish there was a way to get a refund. I have never been so disappointed in a GolfNow booking. DO NOT GOLF HERE unless you get it for free and have 6 hours to waste.

Friendly staff, nice course, play a little slow only because of rude players cutting in front to replay previous holes. Marshall needs to be more active

I planned a last minute birthday golf day for my husband & unfortunately he & the guys ran into many issues on the course & with an associate. The battery on 2 out of 4 carts died mid-course play. There were dry patches in the fairway, tons of dips throughout the course. At the end of the trip, they asked an associate to speak to the manager so he's aware if the experience and the associate pretended he couldn't hear them. Then when he did see the guys trying to get his attention he pretended to not know English. The associate was Caucasian and I'm assuming legally employed. He works in the shop, how can he not know english and why would he be unwilling to assist? I won't be recommending this course to anyone yet I will be warning others about it. Course was overpriced for what we got.

Snack Bar is very weak at best. Course could use some more water and could use more course maintenance.

Pro Shop staff were very friendly.

Layout was Ok and condition was fair being Muni course.

They allow 6 some play and caused an hour delay.

I wish to have Marshall more active on this course.
