Par-3 at Vista Valencia Golf Course

Do not come here if you’re a good golfer. The pace of play is the worst I have ever seen and it just feels ghetto. Groups of five everywhere, people getting drunk and not wearing shirts.

Lots of spots on the course with little or no grass. Management should have re-seeded the entire course and range during the Covid lockdowns.

The staff was nice but we rolled up on hole 2 and ahead of us, waiting to tee off, was a group of 4 and another group of 4 all waiting for another group on the fairway. It was like this for all 18 holes. Just under 5 hours for a mostly par 3/4 course is too much for me.

Totally overbook course and poor pace of play management. Forget buying any food or drinks for the back 9 if you tee off after 2pm, it'll be closed.

I'm a novice, who's just started to love the game. Plenty of variety and challenges. For a public course it's more than decent. Gets busy and sometimes there's no one behind you, depending on the day and time.

When I get better and graduate to an Amateur, I'll be more qualified to give a golf course a 4 or 5 star rating. Lol

I've landed a couple of 90 yd shots, just feet from the hole. I guess that's what made me come back 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Lol

It was a great day of golf. The only disappointment was we wanted to add a 3rd golfer after we made the original tee time. The web site said it was sold out, but a 3rd golfer (walk on) was added on our golf day and we didn’t have 4th golfer. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

We had a player who did not have a E-Mail Address and could not check in . your office would not allow me to share my EMail Address ? I don’t understand how you would allow this and lose a customer ? Are you so book and taking your business for Granted ? Am not sure if I will return.

Course was in good shape.. very busy and pretty slow..took 4 hours but still had a good time...

Short in length but well designed holes make up for it & challenge every level of player. Various elevation changes, bunkers, angles, water & length force you to plan your shot, so it’s not all straight forward. It’s kind of in-between a full length course & an executive 9 but 18 holes. Holes don’t all look the same especially the par 3’s. Solid practice place for good players & a great intro for beginners, also very walkable for older people. If the fairways & greens got like country club level maintenance this would be a little gem of a track.

Vista Valencia wish it was kept up better. Course needs & always has needed better attention to grass upkeep, Terrible sand in ALL of the bunkers. tee boxes are embarrassing, fairways are moderately good, greens are good but upkeep on & around tee entrance 7 exit, green entrance & exit are atrocious. But for the green fee, what do you expect! Just as the only really public course in Valencia, you would think it would be kept up better. Come on SVC!
