Streetsville Glen Golf Club
About
Streetsville Glen Golf Club first opened in 1967, but major renovation in 2001 have updated this golf course, making it more player friendly while still keeping the challenges of the original layout in tact. With only 10 holes when first opening, eight newly designed, thought-provoking holes were added. The golf course is somewhat short but the wind that comes into play on the back nine makes it seem like it plays much longer. There are also well placed bunkers and water hazards coming into play throughout. Streetsville Glen Golf Club's signature hole is the long par-5 sixth, where an out-of-bounds down the entire left side and a pond on the right require shots to not only be long, but also straight.

worst i have ever played
I have been playing here for years and it keeps getting progressively worse. It is now the worst i have ever played by far. The grass hasnt been cut in weeks, it is a sea of dandelions which i havent seen on any other courses. They want $ 59 dollars to ride but apparently arent willing to do any maintenance for the money. I will never be back . It is disgraceful.
Unusual layout
Not the easiest layout to follow but we made it. Not bad for Golfing in November. Will try again next season. Highway noise but what can you expect next to the 401.
Streetsville Glen
A few silly holes . But good for beginners. Need to get a deal from golf now, otherwise it's a bit overpriced .
All Chopped up!!!
I am a frequent golfer and have played over 30 different courses this year alone Streetsville is not even a golf course dinky little club house crammed extremely confusing fairways uncut greens and fringe (hairy) unkept broken bridges and tee box area cart paths that lead nowhere.....I figured it's only a matter of time until they tear it apart to build homes...I booked on golfnow walking rate 16.99$ pp when you get there it's 35$ for two to ride that's 17.50 PER PLAYER!!! Not impressed for the money 2thumbs down will not replay this place is chopped.
Great time...great course
Had a great time. Very well maintained. I would play here again.
Disappointed
Had played several years ago and it was ok. The housing development has caused the course to be hacked up and now 10 par 3's and the first 6 greens were so furry and slow and seemed not cut. Then they improved. Wouldn't play again I'm afraid. Sorry Iggy!
good course for a quick round
This course was larger and the layout has been re-worked. The holes are fairly challenging, just par 4s and 3s. In good condition, the greens are slow. Wide fairways on most of the holes. Minimal sand in bunkers.
NOT GOOD
Course was in terrible shape. Green had not been cut and pins had most likely been in the same spot for a few days. They were aerating greens as we were playing (with no notice) and just continued working while you tried to play around them. Greens that were already aerated were just left with holes that were ripped up and would severely alter the direction of your putt. Sand traps were never raked. Place was a disaster.
Excellent value
A quirky little course that has been modified by Kaneff to fit in houses but nonetheless it is a pleasant challenge with some very interesting holes (16), challenging holes (3-5). Greens are small and fairways are forgiving. Course was in good condition although they are aerating greens now. Cannot find a better value if you want to play a par 62 in under 3 hours walking.
Poor Conditions
This course was in a bad shape, the fairways were in poor condition and the hole layout can be dangerous as you are walking into your hole while someone is teeing off from the other end, there were FORE shouts a plenty. On the flip side if you are low on cash and want a cheap 18 hole game, you cannot complain
great course
awesome course but either the course or golfnow double booked two groups and took 6 hrs to play 18 holes
Streetsville!
Short course- Par 62
Worth the money, great to go there after work as the whole game takes 3hr for 2ppl
Good Practice Course
Went on a Tuesday afternoon as a twosome. We flew through 18 holes in just about 2.5 hours (granted it was a hot day and the course relatively empty). Some fun holes, great value. Staff was very friendly all around. I was nervous about booking when I read the other reviews that the course is tough to navigate - while we had to pause for a couple of seconds from time to time to determine where the green is, it certainly is not difficult. The staff have also put up many new signs in response to that feedback. Course is very easy, with short holes, but that is great for practice. Id pay 30$ for this any day.
Doesn't live up to the Kaneff Brand
Dissaponting experience. Course was not maintained at all. Tough to navigate the course with confusing greens. Do not recommend. Way better courses available for the same price!
GOOD FOR FAST ROUND
FIRST TEE TIME FLEW THROUGH COURSE
GREEN IN GOOD CONDITION
Bargain course, ok for practise
You can tell this course has deteriorated over the years. Cart paths are over grown, many of the bridges are closed and over grown with weeds and some of the paths (and holes) are cut short due to the new housing developments built on the edge of the course.
As others have pointed out, there are signs at the course telling golfers that the new houses are O.B. and golfers are responsible for all damage. Strange, though, there are no nets, trees or other materials to help minimize ball strikes. Definitely play your irons and be mindful of how hard you swing.
Overall the course is ok for a quick 9 or 18 after work, a bit of short game practice and some iron work. Not many holes require a driver, but I wouldn't go here for anything else.
For low level play, course was good
The directions on the course were poor. Sometimes we were shooting at a green that was the wrong green. So we looked at the scorecard from that hole on to make sure we were hitting to the correct green. From the last tine we played (2 seasons ago) the course is deteriorating and chopped up, we think because of housing development. The course does not add to Kaneff's reputation.
Confused layout
Overall not a bad course, short but interesting. Kind of a nightmare to negotiate as tee locations are poorly laid out. the course itself was well maintained but the clubhouse and golf carts left a lot to be desired
Not worth it
This was the worst course I have played in years and to think I could of played lionhead for 9 more dollars makes me ill. This course was way over priced and the fairways were long and the rough was way to long. Overall very poor experience.
