Streetsville Glen Golf Club
About
Streetsville Glen Golf Club first opened in 1967, but major renovation in 2001 have updated this golf course, making it more player friendly while still keeping the challenges of the original layout in tact. With only 10 holes when first opening, eight newly designed, thought-provoking holes were added. The golf course is somewhat short but the wind that comes into play on the back nine makes it seem like it plays much longer. There are also well placed bunkers and water hazards coming into play throughout. Streetsville Glen Golf Club's signature hole is the long par-5 sixth, where an out-of-bounds down the entire left side and a pond on the right require shots to not only be long, but also straight.

executive course
I used to play this course in the past, before it was renovated. Actually, twice. The original course was very good. After the first renovation, it was still pretty good. The holes are interesting enough, but the layout is very confusing and disturbing. You would think that they could re-arrange the order, so the next tee would be close to and make sense from the previous green. The price is good value and the pace was 3-1/2 hours, even with slow play ahead. It's easy to get tee-time on short notice.
Beginners course
Good bang for the buck, but you'll be held up hole after hole
Good for an executive
The course is more of an executive with short holes. The only problem we had was the layout of the course... it was confusing to find the next hole and we felt that we could get hit by a ball at any time since the tee blocks and greens were a bit close (sign a waver lol)
Day at the course
Course was in nice condition. Good little track for a quick round. A little Pricey for an executive course.
wet/muddy
The fairways were rough in many spots, lot's of standing water. A few holes poorly laid out.The course was better back in the day before they chopped it all up.
Decent course
Decent course, good value especially with Golfnow discounts.
Book on Golf now with a cart!
I have played this course several times as it is a short course and good for my wife who is a new golfer. However this was my first time booking a walking round with the intention to upgrade to a cart at the course. $17.50 each player was a ridiculous cost for the 1950's carts available that had such low power we had to physically push them up steep hills. We saw the marshall 3 times and asked him to bring us fully charged carts. He never did. Overall the course cost us $50 each person including the cart, which is terrible considering the quality of other courses charging the same price. I will play this course again with my wife, against my will.
Quick Play
Decent course for the price. Could be a lot better. Only problem was we got paired with a "volunteer" and instead of focusing on the game he was trying to steal my ball. Other than that, play time was really good.
not well maintained
This course is quite poorly kept. Puddles of water on the fairway , poorly kept greens. And so on.
Way to wet
The course was soaked by the rain the previous night.
They closed the back nine as it was inaccessible because of paths under water. The course should have closed or offered compensation for the unplayable conditions.
Good course
Good mix of holes. Well kept. Nice course for beginner or seasoned player.
Good course for those new to golfing.
Fun little golf course ,fairways are perhaps a little tight but overall course is in good condition.
Good course for beginners.
The course is what it is, a course for beginners to intermediates. The conditions are fair based on the price you pay to play here anyway (deals thru GolfNow).
Could be better
Considering this is a Kaneff course, it was in poor condition! Tee grounds were very hard and Greens did not look like they had been cut and had many pitch marks. Fairways in some areas were bare!
Good for the money.
For what we paid this course was an okay round. Have played it before, so I knew it wasn't a long course. Greens were in good condition but fairways fairly burnt up. Overall, we had a good day.
Good starter course
Lots of par 3's and 4's. Easy to get the green on several of the 4's
Greens were OK and a lot of unrepaired ball marks. Fairways were not the greatest.
Value for the money though is good. $48 on a holiday with a cart.
Fast course (played under 3 hours), so of you want a fast 18 in the city, this would be a good one.
Twilight Round
We played 18holes - fortunately the golfers in front of us were very slow so they allowed us to pass (mind you we weren't the fastest). Course definitely needs alot of maintenance work - but for the price we paid, it was great value. We got paired with a Single player who happened to be a "volunteer" at the course - he kept telling us what to do and how to play. He even tried to steal my ball - between courses he would drive around and try to snap up balls. Found it weird. So we purposely began to play really slow and told him to go ahead as we didn't want to hold him up. It all worked out in the end.
If this course is cleaned up and shrubs cut dow, ropes added - it could be a very solid course to play.
nice for a short course
I've played here alot with my daughter and her boyfriend. The price is reasonable and course is well suited for newer players and also better players.
Good deals to be had on golf now quite regularly.
Executive type course
I was disappointed in the overall length of this course. Had played here a few years ago, before the housing development bought out much of the course. Only short par 4's and 3's are left on this once lovely golf course. If you want executive style course, you'll love Streetsville Glen. If you are looking for a regulation course, keep looking!
