Streetsville Glen Golf Club
About
Streetsville Glen Golf Club first opened in 1967, but major renovation in 2001 have updated this golf course, making it more player friendly while still keeping the challenges of the original layout in tact. With only 10 holes when first opening, eight newly designed, thought-provoking holes were added. The golf course is somewhat short but the wind that comes into play on the back nine makes it seem like it plays much longer. There are also well placed bunkers and water hazards coming into play throughout. Streetsville Glen Golf Club's signature hole is the long par-5 sixth, where an out-of-bounds down the entire left side and a pond on the right require shots to not only be long, but also straight.

Terrible course
Played on Father's Day weekend so wasn't expecting a fast round. Took 3 hours to play 9 holes. Decided to walk-off and was told it was "just a busy day." Course layout is borderline dangerous, yardages are wrong in several spots and overall conditions are poor. Management clearly overbooked the course as a cash-grab. Would never go back and may never play another Kaneff course again.
Taking it to the "streets"
As many people wrote Its a bit confusing the first timeout because a lot of holes somewhat "crisscross" each other so be patient, There was a couple holes where the Tee Off is located right in front of the previous holes green which makes it feel a bit squeezed for space. ***Beware for newer golfers*** There are a few holes which are very close to the facility, the road, a gas station and some homes. When golfing on this course they say YOU are responsible for any damage caused....something which was not stated before booking a Tee Time (luckily no incidents!! :) ) With that being said the course is maintained very well, and still makes for a fun and decent outing. especially for the price, you really can't complain. I've played a few other courses within this price range (Around the GTA) and Streetsville definitely stood above.
Challenging course but wet
Nice course to work on your short game but conditions were less than ideal as the course was quite wet and once hole was closed due to flooding (valley hole). Fun to play and would play here again!
Course was flooded.
The course was very flooded from the previous day's rain. We were unable to play on six of the holes (#5 and #12 to #16). At the clubhouse, we were instructed to play some of the available holes twice to make our 18 holes of play. I feel they should have shut down the course until it was playable.
The course is in decline
I played the course years ago (before houses). The course now has a poor design. The course should close and redesign.
Wow...Poorly Executed
First time at this course. I paid $32 for 18 holes with a power cart. I would have rather paid that and walked at Oakville Executive. The power cart barely worked. Have to pump the gas pedal to get it started. That was more of an annoyance though. The course is very poorly laid out. From the 8th hole onward it's anyone's guess where to go next. Very little signage for a course that has you going back and forth so much. Very poor irrigation. It hadn't rained in 24 hours and there were still puddles everywhere. Sand bunkers were small ponds. I know you "get what you pay for" but if that's the case I still over paid. Won't be back
Pride of place
Golf by all accounts is a holistic experience defined primarily by nature and environment. This experience was none of these things. This course is unkept and dangerous with every hole encountered. It brings me no pleasure to write this since every golf course should be coveted for its inherent preserve for nature. Every course is worth fighting for especially with the encroachment of urban sprawl but as a proud resident of Mississauga this course is not a reflection of what the city or golf aspires to be and become. It is by its abandonment a developers prospect for a future subdivision
What a shame!!!
Streetsville glen
This course has been reduced from a regulation 18 to a much shorter course as they built houses all around the east side of the course. The course plays just over 4000 yards.
The course was in very good shape it is a good course to work on the short game. They had someone going around in a cart selling beverages.
Excellent value for 18 holes
Good value for money
Good value for money
In good condition
Short course
executive course
I used to play this course in the past, before it was renovated. Actually, twice. The original course was very good. After the first renovation, it was still pretty good. The holes are interesting enough, but the layout is very confusing and disturbing. You would think that they could re-arrange the order, so the next tee would be close to and make sense from the previous green. The price is good value and the pace was 3-1/2 hours, even with slow play ahead. It's easy to get tee-time on short notice.
Beginners course
Good bang for the buck, but you'll be held up hole after hole
Good for an executive
The course is more of an executive with short holes. The only problem we had was the layout of the course... it was confusing to find the next hole and we felt that we could get hit by a ball at any time since the tee blocks and greens were a bit close (sign a waver lol)
Day at the course
Course was in nice condition. Good little track for a quick round. A little Pricey for an executive course.
wet/muddy
The fairways were rough in many spots, lot's of standing water. A few holes poorly laid out.The course was better back in the day before they chopped it all up.
Decent course
Decent course, good value especially with Golfnow discounts.
Book on Golf now with a cart!
I have played this course several times as it is a short course and good for my wife who is a new golfer. However this was my first time booking a walking round with the intention to upgrade to a cart at the course. $17.50 each player was a ridiculous cost for the 1950's carts available that had such low power we had to physically push them up steep hills. We saw the marshall 3 times and asked him to bring us fully charged carts. He never did. Overall the course cost us $50 each person including the cart, which is terrible considering the quality of other courses charging the same price. I will play this course again with my wife, against my will.
Quick Play
Decent course for the price. Could be a lot better. Only problem was we got paired with a "volunteer" and instead of focusing on the game he was trying to steal my ball. Other than that, play time was really good.
not well maintained
This course is quite poorly kept. Puddles of water on the fairway , poorly kept greens. And so on.
Way to wet
The course was soaked by the rain the previous night.
They closed the back nine as it was inaccessible because of paths under water. The course should have closed or offered compensation for the unplayable conditions.
