Streetsville Glen Golf Club

About
Streetsville Glen Golf Club first opened in 1967, but major renovation in 2001 have updated this golf course, making it more player friendly while still keeping the challenges of the original layout in tact. With only 10 holes when first opening, eight newly designed, thought-provoking holes were added. The golf course is somewhat short but the wind that comes into play on the back nine makes it seem like it plays much longer. There are also well placed bunkers and water hazards coming into play throughout. Streetsville Glen Golf Club's signature hole is the long par-5 sixth, where an out-of-bounds down the entire left side and a pond on the right require shots to not only be long, but also straight.

Disappointed
I played first time this course ,and very disappointed. It is very short course(4000yd). Condition was poor. Feel like practice range .and so close highway so too much noisy. Only good thing is close to my home sorry I am not play there any more ..
Relaxing round of golf!
Great course, very well maintained. Staff are very friendly and helpful. One of the best courses in Brampton.
father and son
a quick round. new clubs so we both wanted a quick round. we started at 8 00am so the course wasn't groomed yet BUT we still enjoyed ourselves. The staff and super especially the young man 8 side checking you in.
Small greens, a couple of poor tee decks but over all, a great day.
practicing my short game
great little course to practice your short game and not very busy. staff is really nice and the location is good
Thanks, will let Chris our pro know about your feedback.
Absolute SHAG
My first and last time to I will ever play if you want to call it a course.....now I will admit the last month has been extremely dry with very little to no rain but still with that being said no excuse for coarse condition ....I mean not only ground as hard as a rock but absolutely no separation or even definition between fairway and ruff to an already poor layout to begin with....even the power carts would not be safe to drive in Mexico or some other 3rd world country...only good words to say about my experience was the young man at pro shop was extremely kind , courteous and professional but the coarse was an absolute SHAG!!!!
Good value
18 holes for under $30 is a great deal in the GTA. Plays in under 4 hours
Thanks!
Good price, get what you pay for
This course is old, greens are good but the layout is not that great, quality of carts are slow and poor, you'd never know what you'll get, most times we get carts with parking brakes that don't work. Risky for holes with steep hills when you have to park it. Of course you can exchange it but the next one will have another issue. Staff are friendly and the $$ value for green fees is good.
Watch out for course walkers and ball stealers unfortunately
Thanks for the feedback on the carts.
Good for the money
I had a nice time playing Streetsville Glen.
Thank you!
Bad greens horrible pace
Course has unkept spongy not groomed greens! Full of hacks that should only be on a driving range! When I asked why are the greens not cut and are thick- answer was- thats how we do it and we would have ot water them! Clearly Owners dont run the course well.
We will send this feedback to the upper management. Thanks.
Will not play again
I have been playing at this course at least 4 times a month. As the previous poster said, it looks like the grass has not been cut in a while. There are dandelions everywhere especially on the fairways. Normally you would want your ball on the fairway but with all this growth, you're better off in the rough. The course has been deteriorating over the last few years and it's at its worst this year. I played here March and it was in better shape than it is right now.
worst i have ever played
I have been playing here for years and it keeps getting progressively worse. It is now the worst i have ever played by far. The grass hasnt been cut in weeks, it is a sea of dandelions which i havent seen on any other courses. They want $ 59 dollars to ride but apparently arent willing to do any maintenance for the money. I will never be back . It is disgraceful.
Unusual layout
Not the easiest layout to follow but we made it. Not bad for Golfing in November. Will try again next season. Highway noise but what can you expect next to the 401.
Streetsville Glen
A few silly holes . But good for beginners. Need to get a deal from golf now, otherwise it's a bit overpriced .
All Chopped up!!!
I am a frequent golfer and have played over 30 different courses this year alone Streetsville is not even a golf course dinky little club house crammed extremely confusing fairways uncut greens and fringe (hairy) unkept broken bridges and tee box area cart paths that lead nowhere.....I figured it's only a matter of time until they tear it apart to build homes...I booked on golfnow walking rate 16.99$ pp when you get there it's 35$ for two to ride that's 17.50 PER PLAYER!!! Not impressed for the money 2thumbs down will not replay this place is chopped.
Great time...great course
Had a great time. Very well maintained. I would play here again.
Disappointed
Had played several years ago and it was ok. The housing development has caused the course to be hacked up and now 10 par 3's and the first 6 greens were so furry and slow and seemed not cut. Then they improved. Wouldn't play again I'm afraid. Sorry Iggy!
good course for a quick round
This course was larger and the layout has been re-worked. The holes are fairly challenging, just par 4s and 3s. In good condition, the greens are slow. Wide fairways on most of the holes. Minimal sand in bunkers.
NOT GOOD
Course was in terrible shape. Green had not been cut and pins had most likely been in the same spot for a few days. They were aerating greens as we were playing (with no notice) and just continued working while you tried to play around them. Greens that were already aerated were just left with holes that were ripped up and would severely alter the direction of your putt. Sand traps were never raked. Place was a disaster.
Thanks! Great for kids, beginners, seniors. We are thinking about creating memberships at Streetsville for next year.
