About
Sprawling across rolling terrain, Savannah Golf Links features several dramatic elevation changes and several elevated tees and greens. Golfers will be sure to come across many uneven lies. At 6,213 yards from the back tees, it is not a long golf course but it puts a premium on accuracy in order to get a good store, making it a true shot-maker's golf course. Savannah Golf Links offers a variety of challenges, appealing to both low and high handicappers. The most notably difficult hole is the par-4 sixth. This 362-yard hole is a dogleg right with a small landing area that requires a second shot that will carry over water to a postage stamp green with a bunker placed in front.

Best bang-for your buck
This course has everything. Greens are not to be taken lightly otherwise you will be facing some three putts.
There are some holes that beg to be attacked so be warned.
This course has to be the best deal around. A must play for all skill levels.
The staff are so friendly and helpful
Love this course
Always beautifully maintained. Staff are very friendly. Some very challenging holes. Not overly long but don’t let that fool you. Off the fairway and you could be in trouble. Beautiful country course.
Savannah golf links
Today was very slow, many walkers, waited every hole. Teed off at 1pm finished 530. This is not normal, but has happened the last few rounds. A great course without a doubt. Cushy fairways, greens in great shape, tricky, rough was cut down big time. Clearing out the bad stuff. Definitely will return, one of our preferred courses.
Challenging
Pick your landing spots wisely. Challenging layout and nice mix of par 5s and 3s . will go again 100 percent.

Tee times should be spaced out more whole course was backed up all morning! great track beautifully maintained
Excellent course
Great tee boxes. Great fairways. Roughs are playable. Greens were bumpy that day, although there was a storm the day before. Sand traps were very nice.
I recommend a power cart if playing 18 holes as the course is very hilly. But thats all preference.
Would definitely play again but I live 45 minutes away.
Great track!
Great course with many challenges! Layout makes you make choices you might not normally get to make and use all clubs in your bag! Really enjoyed it!
Disappointed golfer-SAFETEY
There is no system (air horn ) in place by Management to warn players of impending thunder storms (lightning) in the area. Safety is paramount.The first system went north of the golf course the 2nd hit directly .After confronting the Marshall with weather issues I concluded he failed his science class. No rain cheque after 7 holes .One inch standing water on the putting green. Pro states they have USGA greens which drain well. GolfNow has my money. Third weather system hit as I was leaving .Not good
1. We have an air horn which we blow when there's lightning, not rain. No lightning, no horn.
2. You insulted my marshal and told him "I know more than you."
3. If you pay the golf course, you get a rain check. If you pay a third party, you must seek compensation from them. Fair?
4. Pro (me) was absolutely correct. Greens were perfect 10 minutes after you pulled out of the driveway.
5. Sunny blue skies and 120 players put through after you left...Pretty darn good!

I have to say that the professionalism shown by everyone at the course was first class.
From the starter to the pro and the course Marshall everything was first class.
We were treated as guests and made to feel important.
I strongly recommend to go and play the course.
What an Awesome Day!
The course conditioning was absolutely perfect, as was the beautiful topography - a photographer's delight. "Links" might be misleading, but, oh well! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This is definitely one of the best courses I've played in North America and I'll be back - a gem of an experience.

Thank you so much for the glowing review! The grounds crew had done some preventative small tine spiking to the greens on the evening prior which may have had them running the slightest bit "bumpy." You should expect perfect conditions for your next round out! Chris
