About
Whitetail Golf Club enjoys a landscape of rolling hills covered with mature trees, creeks, and ponds. Originally opened as a short nine-hole course, the layout was transformed into an 18-hole championship design in 2004. The update added a level of challenge to an already playable golf course. The first five holes are new, as are the last four. The layout has tree-lined fairways that demand accuracy and there are two tricky carries over water on the opening hole and the 17th. Both of these are par 3s that feature significant greenside bunkering that will test the iron play of even the most seasoned golfers. Whitetail Golf Club's sixth and 14th are two par 4s from the original nine that are particularly memorable since they play much longer than the indicated yardage.

Fantastic Holes
Excellent shape. Many interesting holes. Poison Ivy in abundance so leave your mishits where they land.
Course was in great shape
Challenging track with many beautiful holes cut through the Canadian Shield. Throughly enjoyed the round.
Tricky but fair
This course is interesting for me, because many greens are driveable for me, in fact I've got on one par 4 green with a 4 iron here! However, the greens are very challenging and are perhaps the best in the valley. One of the most fun courses to play in the valley!
Excellent Golf Course
We played Whitetail Golf Club for the first time and I must say we were very impressed with the course conditions and the layout. The greens were fast and true. This is the best golf course in the Ottawa Valley. The staff were very friendly and paid close attention to every detail. We played in less than 4 hours. This course is a must play and is definitely worth the drive from Ottawa. We will be returning this summer several times.
Fabulous course !!
This was one of the most picturesque and well maintained courses I have every played. I enjoyed it thoroughly. It was beautiful scenery at each hole and so well maintained. A credit to the staff !!
Each hole was also a challenge in its design but the architect had it right. A must to play !!
Cart Paths
All aspects of the experience were very good to excellent with the exception being the condition of the cart paths which are very poor.

The feature hole plays 600 yards from the Blue's. The course has many memorable holes and lots on challenges. Overall in great condition

Great Deal
My wife and I played Whitetail for the first time and we were impressed with the layout and the design. The greens were fast and true. One of the best in the Valley. My only concern was the Pro-shop allowed 2 groups to cut in front of us on #10, as Mens night was going off the Front 9....Not good........
Course is challenging but user friendly
Course is in great shape and a lot of work has been done to make pace of play faster. The best course in the valley. Great greens.
Always a good course
I've played Whitetail many times over the last few years. During that time, I've seen the course improve and mature as a golf course. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the greens and fairways were in great condition. If your ball should venture out of bounds, leave it there because there's a lot of poison ivy in the forest.
Expensive Niner
I just love this course! Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant surprise when I arrived with my wife yesterday (June 13th). Somehow I had booked my tee time for June 12th instead of the 13th. Instead of enjoying my Hot Deal for 18 holes at 7:30, we payed an additional fee at full price to play 9. An expensive day, so be sure to double check your information before you press enter!
Had Fun...
Even though it was a rainy day, we enjoyed the round at white tail. It's one of the nicer courses in the area.

Great discovery!!!
This golf course was in excellent condition. The challenges are numerous and interesting. If water typically attracts you, bring more balls lol! Overall, I would highly recommend this golf course. The one hour and 20 minute is well worth it!
