The Hawk Niagara Falls Golf Club - Blue Niagara
About
The Hawk Niagara Falls Golf Club (formerly know as Peninsula Lakes Golf Club) is home to 27 holes of golf. The Blue Niagara Course, the club's original course, is named for its layout, which descends to the bottom of a quarry and then makes a gradual ascent to the clubhouse. There are four large lakes throughout this nine-hole course that comes into play on four holes. The golf course is challenging with well-placed bunkers, dense patches of rough, and careful mounding throughout but the more player-friendly fairways are quite generous and mid-size greens that putt fast and true. It begins with two signature holes, first a par-4 dogleg left and then a challenging par 3.

Golfer Reviews
Great shape, good value!
Course is in great shape! Well manicured, decent paced greens!
One of the best courses in Niagara!
It was raining most of the day today, and even drizzling when we started... that made the pristine conditions of this course that much better to play on.
I'll definitely be back!
A very good round considering
Credit of Pen Lakes for the way they have handled everything considering the restrictions that have to be in place. Only complaint was the rough, very long and punishing otherwise course in great shape.
What a blast
Pretty much have the whole course to myself it was a nice cold day the wind was blowing like crazy got to use a driver and a couple of par threes lots of fun what a gorgeous course
Great track
Nothing beats fall golf the course is in great shape . Green's in excellent shape .
Best course in Niagara region
This is by far the best course I've played in Niagara. For late fall golf the course was immaculate. Although it was cart path only due to heavy rains a few days before it was the right call to protect this gem. I look forward to playing it again.
Fall Golf
If you want fall golf with mid summer conditions this is the place, greens fast and true
Best course in Niagara region
This course is extremely challenging. Lots of hazards big fairway bunkers, and very long holes some par 4s hard to get to in 2 but it's very scenic. Perfect for the experienced golfer looking for a challenge.
Not the same
We always thought this beautiful layout was pristine. Not so much now. Greens were not up to usual standards, a bit slow and bumpy. Course itself was a few notches above average as to condition. Should be able to play the course I. 4 hrs. 19 minutes. Our 1:30 round took approximately 4 hr. 40 minutes. Perception may have been somewhat influenced having played the exquisite Lookout Point early that day, just up the road. We way have caught an off day and some consideration to a stretch of heat and dry weather.
