Meadowbrook Park Golf Course
About
Meadowbrook is an old 9-hole executive track that some claim dates back to the 1920s. The par 33 layout plays to 2,045 yards from only one set of tees. The best hole is No. 3, which plays 151 yards into a scenic green surrounded by giant pecan trees.
Getting there : From Hwy. 360 south find Abram and turn right (west). When you come to Willis, turn left, then look for the course on the left side of the road.

Short Game Course
We have played this course since the 80's and it's always a hoot! You can master you short game here as it's only 9 holes and you might hit driver once or twice the whole round.
nice course for beginners
We drove more than an hour to play at the Meadowbrook Park GC mainly for my wife who just started golfing. It took us a while to find the place, and surprisingly our online reservation was not in the golf course's computer system. But the staff (Jim) behind the counter was super friendly and got us on our way without problems. Thanks to the hot weather, there were not many players on the course and we really enjoyed the pace of play. This is a nice little course for beginner golfers and for anyone who want to practice their short games. The greens were extremely slow, but we did not mind much. We just wish this place were closer to where we live!!
Meadowbrook Park fun short course.
I found the course to be pretty short. I learned the . course is one of the first courses in Fort Worth; having opened in 1924. Greens were hard to putt on, but may have been aerated recently. They really need to be redone as there were large brown spots & some bare spots on most greens. The fairways were ok, but need to be watered and the rough is just high enough to make it very hard to find your ball. Overall I would rate this course as fair.
Carts
I like the addition of carts to the course. You may have to consider some paved paths in the future!
Not a bad little 9 hole course
Pay close attention to the GolfNow purchase. If you don’t read the fine print when buying a round you’ll miss that it doesn’t include a cart. A lot of people walk this course so it plays kind of slow. Overall not a bad little 9 hole course. Can get a little pricey. You can pay the same amount for a much better course in the metroplex.
Its a good course to practice with your irons and work on your short game. The course is in okay shape. Good place for beginners and youngsters. They will let you play 18. Overall I enjoy coming here. Its not crowded often which allows for good pace of play.
We love golfing here because of the degree of difficulty and great prices.
Perfect course
Why blow dollars at driving range when you can play this perfect 9 hole golf course twice. They don't have a pretty cart girl bringing drinks and snack but have a well stock club house with friendly staff.
Fun course
Beautiful weather, course in great shape,
Friendly staff.
I even had a red tail hawk fly past me and pick up my ball and dropped it onto the green a few feet away. No I am not kidding, it really happened!
Oh yeah I beat 3 of my sons for 18 holes!
Love playing this course. It is just competitive enough and the staff are friendly. And the price is right!
You get what you pay for
Most fairways were in good shape, except for 75 yards and in to the green on No. 1. This area had tire tracts and pair spots. Greens had two much grass and some weeds. Very slow and bumpy.
Not Golfnow friendly
My girlfriend and I drove 35 miles to play the course. We arrived about 1 1/2 hours early because we went there directly after dropping a car off for service. We thought we would get some practice in before our round. [the course does not have a driving range.]. When we checked in the 18 to 22 year old person behind the counter without us asking told us that Golfnow customers are not allowed to tee off earlier than their scheduled tee time. So we went outside and did some pitching and putting. Seeing that the tee box was empty and had been empty for about 15 minutes I went back inside and said to him. "Even with the tee box empty, we cannot tee off early?" He replied, "its posted right here. Golfnow customers will be charged $10 per person if they tee off earlier than their scheduled tee time." For some reason he seemed to have a problem with Golfnow customers. Finally with about 20 minutes to go before our tee time, he told us we could tee off. It is a nice 9 hole course. The greens are very slow. If it were not for the treatment we received when we first arrived, I would recommend the course. When we ended our round there was a different gentleman behind the counter. He told us that we could play 9 more holes if we wanted too. He told us the price was the same no matter how many holes we played. His attitude towards us was very friendly. I started to ask him why Golfnow customers could not tee off earlier than their scheduled tee time. If you are a Golfnow customer, I hope your experience is different from ours. It is a nice course to play.
Good course to get exercise!
Course greens are bumpy and slow but grass just coming in so will improve I'm sure! Great place to get some exercise and practice. Will definitely return!
Course is good for beginners
Course was wide open with no sand traps. Good place to work on short game. Tee boxes where in great shape along with some of the greens
Great staff and fun to play
Even on 9 hole golf course, you still have to make shots. This course has the smallest greens and very hard to kept shots on greens. I think the groundskeeper is a sadist for putting flag location in unreal spots.
