Meadowbrook Park Golf Course
About
Meadowbrook is an old 9-hole executive track that some claim dates back to the 1920s. The par 33 layout plays to 2,045 yards from only one set of tees. The best hole is No. 3, which plays 151 yards into a scenic green surrounded by giant pecan trees.
Getting there : From Hwy. 360 south find Abram and turn right (west). When you come to Willis, turn left, then look for the course on the left side of the road.

Not Worth The $10
I would only recommended this course to someone looking to learn how to play. Due to the narrow, sometimes non-existent fairways and minuscule greens, this is not an enjoyable place for a round.
As if the lack of size wasn't enough, most of the greens are built on top of mounds that make it nearly impossible to land an approach shot on the green. Even if you do hit the green, the grass is so dried out your ball will probably roll off the mound setting you up with a tough up and down.
At only $10 to walk you don't feel like you've been cheated, but there are way better 9 hole courses in the area for only a few bucks more.
Cost effective
I'd played this course before and didn't read the fine print. The fine print actually says that it's for 2 trips around this 9-hole course. Nice job with the hole setup. A nice balance of tee shots that favor those who draw or those who fade the ball. There will be approach shots on the par 4s with uneven lies factored in.
Legit Course/Horrible Staff
Me and my buddies play on this course regularly. Ray who works on the weekend is the only professional person there! Save your time and money and go elsewhere. We were harassed by the groundskeeper today, because apparently we did not follow the cart path arrows; which was pointed in all types of directions. The groundskeeper shouted at us, disrespected us, and caused a big scene that was totally uncalled for... All because we did not follow the cart path arrows - which other groups in front of us disregarded as well.
We tried to de-escaled the situation by driving off, but the groundskeeper went and got the owner of the course, and they approached my buddy to argue about our golfing etiquette. The owner made a comment that “tensions are high due to covid-19 and this is a learning experience for us and his staff”. This man clearly did not hold his worker accountable for his actions. We paid money to play on this course just as we do on the regular basis and never had an issue. But today the groundskeeper wanted to be a PGA course officiator that was disrespectful, and very unprofessional how he spoke to us.
I will no longer support this business. Save your money and your peace of mind and golf elsewhere!
Value course
Played today with a buddy and his son. Greens were terrible but other than that it was fine. The course is not long, so driver isn’t needed a lot. You have to shape a few shots here due to trees so the work you get with your irons is valuable. This is a course where you go to strictly work on your game. If you take that approach then it will be a great value to you!
The Golf Course That Time Forgot
This is absolutely the worst course I have ever played. My wife and I played the course while visiting Dallas. We chose the course based on the reviews but were terribly disappointed. First of all, we had to pay extra for a golf cart. One would suppose that the course would have cart paths, but sadly this is not the case. There are a few concrete paths and some dirt paths and some mud paths while some holes have no paths at all. The course looks abandoned, like something from the Walking Dead, replete with walkers. Did I mention that most players are walking the course? Bare dirt everywhere. Greens in terrible shape, fairways not much better. You can see AT&T Stadium from the course, unfortunately the neighboring community is not so attractive. The course is unplayable, we quit after playing 5 holes. Don't make the mistake I did, steer clear of this course.
Wouldn’t play again if it was free
Horrible. We were charged 52 dollars total for two players. No cart was included. Club house smelled like dirty dog. If you wanna practice an iron only this is the place to do it. You can get by, by using a 5 iron the whole course. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
You get what you pay for!
Good doesn't have to be expensive and Meadowbrook is the perfect example. For about $10 you get 9 holes of golf with a view of Dallas Cowboys Stadium The conditions are average but the course is somewhat challenging with narrow fairways on the par 4's. It's the best course in DFW, for this price, and great to go out to work on your game without breaking your budget.
Course is in rough shape
This is the perfect course to take a kid or girlfriend and teach them how to play golf. When you show up, you can see the entire course from the parking lot. Your driver will only come out for one hole. Overall, friendly staff and pace, but dont waste your money if it isnt one of your first times playing.
Just ok
Course was in ok condition. I played it to work on my short game. Lots of dead grass and the greens weren’t real greens (no bent grass just short cut Bermuda) so I couldn’t practice putting. Nice warm up for the season since I’m new to the area but I won’t go back. Good deal money wise though.
Short Game Tunning
Good day before Holiday to get a quick 9 round in before The crowds on Monday. Played a twosome had fun, small talk, gave a few tips, and got a few tips. Good Golf day overcast nice cool breeze. Be back on the heavy hitters, feeling It, and ready. play this course to tune your clubs in. Driver not needed small woods if you narrowing your fairway shoots . Don't have to overplay here. Pointers: first seven green Fast, very. Nine and eight reads true, not fast like the others. Today most players keep ball in fairway(small crowd). I recommend this course, Don't need a cart here. Online special.
Sub Par
Poorly kept course with rude grounds keepers. Good value, but just not worth it
Perfect for those Learning the Game or Tuning-up their Game
Very nice staff and friendly players who are "regulars" on the course. It is a great course to walk and has a steady pace of play. It is well-marked and has a intuitive layout. I can see they do a lot -- grounds-wise -- with what they have to work with, so that is appreciated.
It was a very enjoyable round!
Not busy at all today was able to play all 18 without any issues. Tee box’s were in decent shape. If you have played here before you know the general condition of the course....
Not worth it
Yes it was cheap, but the course conditions were terrible. The greens were terrible. Not worth it to me.
Perfect weather. Course was well taken care of.
Staff was very friendly.
I always recommend this course.
