Forest Golf and Country Hotel - 9-hole

The course was in good shape. The owners (Golf North) have investested money and time in bringing the course back. Fairways still need some work but much better than it was. Stayed and had lunch nice menu and good food

This course is not long but a good mix of holes for the average golfer. We did 18 in a little over 3 hours. It was a fun day and would love to try the hotel deal, stay and unlimited golf. The meals are also very reasonable with a patio overlooking the first hole.

Greens were great. . Able to tee off earlier than scheduled which was good.

I know weekend golfing can be slow and it was very hot for early June. Both my wife and I felt the course may have been overbooked taking some of the fun out of our first experience.

We found the course interesting, yet our first impression leaves us unsure of another visit.

Lovely nature setting. Water makes a few holes quite 'interesting'. A couple of unique par 3 holes -- an Island Green; a steep (over the cliff) downhill over the water.

Greens particularly on the front nine were slow and rough.

Would play it again.

Greens need work Most of the greens were rough, - bumpy, old ball marks, covered with leaves and debris. Canada geese droppings on some greens and some of the fairways I had to watch where I was stepping.

Small course - the greens were rough - very rough so some work is needed there. The birds were wonderful - saw some species you don't see often.

The greens were still airrated so the greens I cannot comment on, other than very slow. (The air ration this time of the year is expected). Was very cold and windy as it made the course a tad bit challenging. Pace of play was on par. Will deff return.

Early in the season. Very wet and the greens had the airation holes not filled with sand yet.

Fairly nice course. Would be good for a couples stay and play. Fairly short which would be good for women golfers or high handycappers.

Very nice day at the Forest Course.

Very quick pace, not a busy day. Greens were slower than we have experienced over this summer.

This course is on a beautiful piece of property. The fairways and greens are in very good shape. The tee boxes are poor full of weeds and uneven. This course is different because it doesn't return to the clubhouse after nine holes (or any other time before 18). A half way house somewhere out near the 9th green where you could get some food would make the course complete.

Enjoy playing here . There was good cart service.

Too bad the course wasn't laid out so you went by the club house at the turn.

Always a good time. One of our favorite courses in Lambton Shores .

Great course for 18 holes of golf. Breakfast was great too & friendly staff all around. Will be back!
