Nice Course, Good Deal
Nice course. It is a bit short. It was a beautiful day and the course is in pretty good shape. The people ahead were slow and held us up the entrée game. There were no marshals, no beverage cart and the bar and restaurant were not open.
We will play again as the deal was good and a fun course.
There are 27 holes so you can play nine even if there is a tournament
Nice Liesure Round
A great course for your novice golfer. A little short with no par 5's but still has some challenge. The 11th hole with the island green tests your mid irons. Some of the greens are tricky.
Review
Although it was extremely windy and there were few on the coarse, we found it wasn't worth playing. 5 holes didn't have Flags because the holes were plugged up not allowing the flag sticks to stay in the holes. The flag sticks were just laying on the greens and you didn't have any idea what you were aiming at with your approach shot. Most greens were not recently cut and were completely covered with leaves. They had also been aerated and sanded making putting all but impossible. The fairways were very wet, covered in leaves and the second cut was extremely long resulting in many lost balls. We had to play cart path only, all-in-all, we didn't feel we got any value for money, even at a fire sale pricing. This may be a very nice coarse in summer months but it should not have been open considering the lack of maintenance,
Excellent Course
It probably better to play in the summer. Leaves were everywhere and greens were aerated. I will come back.
just an ok course
Not a bad course. Not worth the regular price. But it is worth it through golf now.com
Short but tough in spots
Great course for the family. Not too long. Course was a little wet after all the rain but overall a nice layout.
Good day
Course was in good shape for this time of year and pace of play was good
This course is well maintained
Four of us played this course and all agreed it was a well maintained course - there is a fantastic signature hole evryone should play -
Paul McKinley
We had a great day on the course and will be back to play it again.
A Picturesce course
The whole package is very good. The golf, dinning, & staff .
Brenda
The course was great condition. The staff was adequate and doing their job but when we went to purchase beverages for the course there was none available.
Friendly Forest
The course seems easy because of the length but beware. It can bite you if you arent careful.
Great day
Course, food, staff, and weather all fantastic. Great day and will try and do it again if time permits
Perfect Day
Good weather, good friends and a great day on a beautiful course, who could ask for more? Forest Golf & CC is a very picturesque course. Nature every where you look, plant life, water, fox and other wildlife. The course can be challenging espesically the water holes and the island green so take extra balls.
Great Value
Nice Course - Great Value. I would golf here again.
Windy
We played the course on a very windy day. It seemed every hole was being played into it. Course was in average condition. Greens could be in better shape but a very good value for the money.
Great for irons!
Course is in great condition other than some of their weedy bunkers! Drive the green for quite a few holes. If you are a long driver, you may overhit their greens. Great for irons as you can use them quite a bit! Restaurant is decent too!
Will play again!
Great coarse
Lot of different holes. Greens were in great shape.
Good short course
Though not advertised as such, this is what I would call an executive 18 course. No need for a driver on these holes. Great chance to work on your short game. As always, first time around lets you assess where you should have played your shots. Certainly a fun course, and good value at Hot Deal prices. Lots of contour on the greens so beware the dreaded 3-putt.
Quick and Amazing Early Day Round
Booked the deal for a Friday morning at 8:12am. Arrived early and was permitted to tee off early (7:45am). The course was in excellent condition. The 18 hole course is fairly short, only used driver on 5 holes however a good tee shot is rewarded with short approach to green. The greens have moderate to severe undulation. Thoroughly enjoyed the round and will play again. Paid $25 included taxes for 18 holes and a cart.
