Good golf value in Forest, Ontario
My wife and I played during a short vacation in the Forest area.
Per other reviews, the course is short so it favours someone who doesn't hit a long ball off the tee. However, there is lots of water hazards, mature trees and other things that make the round challenging. Greens were in decent shape. Fairways were also in good shape. The island-green was a nice surprise.
We enjoyed our round and will be back before the season is over.
Great short course
Course was in excellent condition. I enjoyed this course more than any other course I have played in the area.
Had a lot of fun playing this course.
My wife and I had a lot fun playing this course, it was in good condition ,and got a great hot deal from golfnow.
Very scenic
Animal life around the course was exceptional and enjoyed it very much. Greens and fairways were in excellent condition and with many challenges if you so wish to take. We definetly will be back to do 27 holes because my wife was not worn out after 18 and this was probably due to the length of the course. Great course for your short game.
average golf course
This course is average for play, a little disappointed after the on line pictures showed so well. Has a few interesting holes including a island green.. purchased as a hot deal good value for the price....course has a lot of potential, just needs a little TLC.
Nice little getaway
My son and I played here for a little outing. It was moderately priced and fun to play. It has its challenging holes, especially the 'island' green. We both landed on, but, can imagine how many balls would have found a resting place at the bottom of the water that surrounds 75% of the green. The 17th offers a high tee area to a low green that has a little creek running in front of it and trees behind it. Nice to land on it and get my par!! We ate the fish (got TWO pieces) with the home fries and coleslaw. It was excellent and we enjoyed!! Beers were a bit pricey. Overall nice outing to Forest. Will go again.
Interesting shorter course.
We've played this course four times over the summer and have always been pleased with the value, the staff, and the condition of the course.
Great Short course
Pace of play excellent. good variety for a short yardage course. Greens smallish with lots of undulation--no easy putts..
Excellent Customer Service
Customer service at this golf course was top notch. There was a problem with unruly guests in a tournament ahead of us, and the staff dealt with it very professionally, and made it right. Best customer service I have experienced in a while. We will definitely return.
