Great course but very tight and lots of hazards, better for experienced golfers.

The course was busy but moving well at 4pm. Saw the cart girl on hole 2. That was it!! It was hot, needed some energy and a drink, figured she had to be around soon... at about 12th hole, game fell apart. 120 a round and no cart girl???? Whats with that?

Nice challenging course with some very narrow fairways, pack some extra balls. The greens were fast, had to really tune down my shots on the green.

The course was in excellent conditions. The greens were also excellent, fast and true. We found the sand in the traps inconsistent and none of the tee boxes had the markers in place. These are only minor annoyances. For first time players, definitely invest in the yardage and layout book. It will save you from surprises.

In this parkland setting many holes have tree lined fairways tight to the hole. Also the open holes have ponds. Placement of you drive is crucial in low score. On the par fives the second shot to the fairway to be in range for the elevated greens is very narrow. I enjoy coming back to this course because it makes me think of the shot, plan where you want it to land. When it is executed it is very rewarding.
The greens are slightly undulating but true to read, all the same speed, hats off to the greens keepers.
Very nice course.

pay attention to the scorecard and where the trouble is...any local knowledge is welcome...stay below the hole

The hamburger we had at the turn was terrible. It was re warmed burnt garbage. Other than that the course was great.

This course is in awesome shape! Place is very clean and the staff were amazing .

It's good and challenge course. fairway and green is good and fantastic. It's good time for me and my wife.

Beautiful day and very good value for a very nice and well-conditioned course. Tee time was at 7 AM. Great value on the day after Canada Day weekend. Not many golfers on course. Only caveat...top-dressed greens. Lots of grit on greens made it difficult to play greens as expected. The course can be a strong challenge especially if you are teeing from the Blues or beyond. There are some blind T shots including (and especially) the 10th. GPS installed carts r handhelds would be highly recommended. If you have a rangefinder (as my playing partner had) may be helpful but sometimes difficult layups were a challenge to determine.

Otherwise, the course is a great value if you can get the discount Hot Deals price. Nice driving range, too. Only 35 minutes away from midtown Toronto.

Got to play Royal Ontario today for the first time :) Was it ever a pleasure!

Started off nice and early and pace was fair! Took just about 4 hours to play 18 back to front. We were a little bit delayed by a 4some but Marshall's were present to make sure pace was kept up!

I played Lionhead last week and Royal Ontario have it a strong run for it's money! I had a much more enjoyable round here and the course was actually in better shape! Specifically less divots and ball marks.

The only negative of the round was the sanding of the greens! - 7/18 greens were freshly covered in sand making it almost impossible to read the green. Also - the grounds staff needs to learn to stop cutting while golfers are hitting! We had someone cutting the tee box we were hitting from while we were hitting and had to ask them to please stop.

I would reccomend ANYONE should play this course! :)

Worthy and valuable golf club. Especially the marshal was very kind and professional. The course is very well maintained and in good condition. I will play hete again.

This days the greens were holding well from morning watering. Course was busy during the long weekend. Pace was comfortable, but slow. Plenty of water hazards around this tight course. Choose your clubs carefully and know your yardages. Look forward to returning.

Beat up greens, 6 hours to play. 120 dollars is way too much. Go to Pipers up the block it's in mint condition.

Conditions are very good - the bunker sand is pretty firm so that could be better. Generally the conditions were great. There is the odd ground under repair and not so great spots. Greens are in good shape.

It's a very challenging course - perhaps too much fescue in some places where you might hit a great shot but it trickles in and you've lost your ball.
Not a big fan of how close #9 and #18 run. I couple rows of trees to separate them a little would be better.

Would recommend to play here and I will be coming back

Course was in great shape and not over booked so we weren't rushed. Also has a good practice facility

I have golfed many courses but this one was definitely one of the nicer ones for the money.

The course was in excellent condition. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were all in top condition. Definitely had fun playing this course and will be back again.

Poor place to play no Marshall's anywhere to be seen. If you like 6 hour rounds this is your place to play. I would not recommend this layout poor conditioned and brutal pace of play.

Pace of play was pathetic it took my group over 5 hours to play. For the money that we paid the condition was not worth it. Overall I would not recommend playing this one!
