local semi private course, dollar for dollar one of the best values around.
Expensive for the quality of the course
Decent layout, but the greens are slow for a private course. I might be a spoiled to play regularly at a well maintained private course.
Beautiful course
Beautiful course everything in great condition from green to tee box will be back again
Hidden Gem
Great course. Definitely would recommend this course. You need to make shots here and plan how you're going to attack each hole. Lots of dog legs, elevation changes, and well placed bunkers, not to mention many holes where the creek comes into play. There are a good number of blind shots so use the scorecard and a rangefinder if you aren't playing with someone who knows their way around. Also, getting to the next tee is a bit confusing on a few holes, especially #3 and #18 in particular.
Customer Service Poor
I don't think I've ever played a course where we are standing in torrential downpour after 7 holes and now 9 hole voucher is provided. The entire course was forced off as the rain was pounding down. And when my guest and I returned there was no voucher provided. When i asked about the policy, I was told it was a twilight rate and that it was a reduced rate. So $70 for 7 holes. Needless to say, not worth the $10 per hole we paid. Very disappointing. Not going to return or recommend.
Amazing
Golfed with three incredible guys, amazing all round day. Course was in great shape for this late in the season. Pace of play was great.
Great Course
Had a good round despite being 14C. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition.
First Round
Lovely course, more a shot makers course but their are a few holes to unleash the kraken. Hopefully, if it is your first time ask to play with someone who is familiar with the course, some holes need explaining.
Great day
The coerce was in good shape except they areated the greens made putting a little bit difficult but other than that it was fantastic .
Challenging good course
Great course, well kept fairways somewhat generous , fast tricky hard green. Practice before you put. Good for walking and great layout. Lots of water so bring extra balls or your a game, cant wait to attack it again and maybe humble this monster. After all is done we all had fun and still shaking our heads how our games got away on us lol.
First time playing and very impressed on all areas it's a must for intermediate and scratch golfers it will test all comers but with views and fun
Good luck and may see you out there soon
Challenging
It wasn't raining today, which it has done most of April & May in southern Ontario. So it was very surprising that the greens were so hard. Land on the front, bounce 8ft high and the ball would run off the back. The rough was extremely long, but I guess that's attributable to all the rain we've had. I guess staying out of the rough is the simple solution. LOL! I will come back to this course.
There was no marshalls on the course and the play was slow.
The two ball in front of us were hitting two shots each for each hole. Where were the marshalls?
A hidden gem,
This course is well worth a visit, whether walking or riding the course, it offers a great challenge for a very reasonable rate
Royal Ontario is next door and at 50% more, is not worth it compared to WyldeWood
I would recommend to anyone
