Everything Good but the Tee Boxes
Great course, great layout. Everything was in great shape except quite a number of the tee boxes. The greens were also in rough shape as very few people that play here seem to fix their ball marks.
One other note: we were following a very slow group that finally let us through on the 11th. This situation was in desperate need of a Marshall and there was not one on the course anywhere. Very frustrating. I don’t ever blame a course for slow golfers. I do blame a course for slow play when a Marshall would solve the problem.
The Course that Maintenance Forgot
I had fond memories of playing this course a few years before but that was erased during this round. Bald and dead tee blocks with rough, fairways and greens which hadn’t been cut in days really ruined the experience.
Loved this course!
It has the right amount of difficulty to keep the game interesting, but not to the extent that you are dreading the next hole. I really like the layout as well. I also noticed the hard work the maintenance staff are putting into some of the tees (new, fresh grass and changing the sizes). I can't wait to come back!
Staff is friendly, course is challenging, and pace of play was great!
I would definitely come back, and recommend Monday afternoons! We flew through our round. The staff was also extremely helpful and kind.
Always ike this course
Really lush fairways for this time of year.. Great value on golf now.
Greens were good, fairways in a lot of spots were really burnt out. For a "private course" I would not be proud if I was member to bring quests to this facility, especially with the price.
Finished playing at 5:45 and could not even get a drink, plus could not even get a drink on the course as there was no beverage cart person.
ON a very hot and humid day, you would think that you would want someone out there keeping the customers hydrated.
Sad tired place.
Sad is best way to describe this place. Boring holes, run down and in terrible condition. Seems like a nice private course in 70's that members didn't want to invest in for years....now it fallen into sad state of disrepair, Given all the nice, interesting designed courses around...go somewhere else.
Good old school course not far away
I’ve played this course several times but not in the past few years. It’s been so dry everywhere (not their fault) however there were several tee’s/fairways that were really bad. Nice course to walk. My friend had to ride and it was an extra $20. Most places charging $16 or $17. I do like the course layout though. If prices stay comparable it’s still good value.
Great challenge
Definitely want to try this course again to try and improve score. There are some quirky holes that if played again, feel like I can do better. Tee boxes were pretty dry and brown but rest of the course was in good shape.
Very brown and dry
I think they killed the tees with the wrong fertilizer. Fairways were very hit and miss for green.
Wyldewood
Course was very average. Not worth 100$ to play. Not very well maintained
Expensive For Value
$100.00 per golfer with a cart.
Tee boxes are mostly dead.
For that type of money the playing area should be looked after - hasn’t been a lot of rain but also no attempt to water on a course that seems fairly busy
Well maintain in this HOT weather few dry spots here and there , nice rolling greens
