Now I know why I haven’t played this course before
Not much good to say sorry. Bland design, water hazards built too close to the greens. Not a course that I would return to. Maybe the cold weather had something to do with it
Great condition course
Very nice, I would like to visit again for sure. Its a bit pricey but worth it completely
Very slow pace. Not a marshall or starter to be found. Played mid-week, could not imagine the pace on a weekend. No Beer cart. Course is a great layout. Greens need some work.
Course needs work
I have played this course several times since it went semi-private a few years ago, and I’m still amazed that they don’t have a starter or someone to tell you when it’s time to head up to the tee. I have found myself organizing folks at the first tee and trying to figure out tee times, very disorganized in that respect.
Love the course, the layout, and it’s challenging enough for my game. Overall, course condition is just okay, some fairways, greens etc... need some work.
Over Priced
Checked in to find out our Hot Deal did not include a cart, so had to pay an extra $20 which brought the round to $88. There are many courses in much better shape a short drive from Oakville that are near as expensive.
I think it's sad that a semi-private club can charge so much just because they are located in Oakville. The tee blocks and greens were in very poor condition. The layout is fun and challenging. But I will not spend that amount of money to play here again. I always thought Wyldewood would be a top-notch condition course. Definitely over-priced.
