Enjoyed the challenge
Course in okay shape. Greens were inconsistent due to aerating, but I know it needs to get done sometime.. Chipping green and range are in bad shape. Back nine is tricky. Got a great hot deal to play the course, so I was happy with the value.
Awful conditions
I was so excited to play wyldewood again. Nothing but disappointment. The course was in awful shape. No mention of the greens being punched and still a $91 green fee. I hope they take the time and correct the conditions of the course for the 2021 season.
Solid Option In The City
Since rates have dropped Wyldewood represents one of the best value-for-money tracks in the GTA. Course is a good test of golf. In good condition. Clubhouse and amenities are dated but if you’re coming out of the golf this is a fun track
Fun and Challenging
A fun and challenging track. Par 4s all play long. Course in terrific shape. We will be back
Really bad set up with tee blocks right beside greens so you have balls flying right at you. Not safe. I won’t play here again.
Great course
Course was in great shape. Only one tee block that was under repair. Fairways and greens were lush. Lots of dog legs and hill shots but a lot of fun. Unless you are very straight with driver mostly an irons course. You have to almost play it once and expect a higher score and return knowing you understand the course to score better. We’ll hopefully hahahahaha. Only a couple notes no beer cart assume that is Covid related.
Everything Good but the Tee Boxes
Great course, great layout. Everything was in great shape except quite a number of the tee boxes. The greens were also in rough shape as very few people that play here seem to fix their ball marks.
One other note: we were following a very slow group that finally let us through on the 11th. This situation was in desperate need of a Marshall and there was not one on the course anywhere. Very frustrating. I don’t ever blame a course for slow golfers. I do blame a course for slow play when a Marshall would solve the problem.
The Course that Maintenance Forgot
I had fond memories of playing this course a few years before but that was erased during this round. Bald and dead tee blocks with rough, fairways and greens which hadn’t been cut in days really ruined the experience.
