The owners/operators will take all the money from players and not put a dollar back in. No Fairways at all. Dead grass and greens. Save your money and go somewhere that has pride in their course.

June 27 feel like we wasted more than$100 for two people. The round was more than 5 1/2 hours long. There were 3 to 4 groups at each tee. The front nine is in horrible condition, no grass on fairways and the greens are very shaggy. Will not be back. Save your money for another course and you will be happier. Sad, we use to enjoy this course a few times a year.

Was quite shocked on how poor the course condition was in. With not having anyone on the course during the lockdown, I would’ve thought he conduction would’ve been a lot better. Outside of that the biggest irritant was this disc golf that’s being played around the back nine.

I got there pretty early and was struck by it's layout. Pretty friendly staff and starter, I was pleased by the way they treated me all round. The course was in good shape, though I do have to reduce two stars for a few patchy fairways and greens. I loved the trees, view and challenge. The fairway are generous, but the trees will come into play on many holes. if you hit a good shot, you will score well, but a mishap will cost you. It's a course I would enjoy playing match-play. I will go again.

I have played their many times over the last 10 years this is the worst condition it has been in. Played there once last year it wasn’t the best. Even worse this time. Not worth $70 in this condition. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

unbelievably horrific course conditions. in some places on fairway not a stich of grass. marshal says winter kill and grubs but no way! on good note, reduced pricing says I'll be back!!

Pace of play was very bad, and course was in pretty rough shape, specially the greens…

In years past this has been my go-to course to play. The conditions used to be incredible with well groomed fairways and greens that were very tricky to play but fair. In the last couple of years the conditions have gone WAY down. Near the end of the 2020 season it was really bad but expected them to repair that for 2021. Unfortunately the conditions only got worse and some holes are near unplayable. In years past we used to joke that we're going to Newcastle GC for the food as it used to be excellent. Now you can't get a sandwich without stale bread and little to no meat on it. Don't even try the sausages. The prices have crept up yet the conditions and food quality have done the opposite. Staff are still nice but it will be hard to convince me to return in 2021.

They had a month to grow grass.

Very disappointed. Golf course in the past has always been in great shape.

I will try again next year.

Over the past 2 years this course has gone from must play to DO NOT play. Conditions are beyond poor. Course was once great and now is a wreck. What a waste.

I had a great time this weekend at Newcastle! The staff was so friendly and I love how they have two beer cart girls going around, fantastic customer service! The course is long and some holes are challenging but it is a great time. My family and I love this course and we will be returning ASAP! Thank you Newcastle golf course!
