Legends on the Niagara Golf Course - Battlefield

The course was in pretty good shape. Greens where really slow and bunkers very wet! We paid $60 which seems like the going rate but is a little over priced.

Excellent course. In great shape with beautiful surroundings. As usual. kitchen in the clubhouse closes early and beer carts are a scarcity out on the course. Need to up their game is they want golfers hanging around spending money.

I found the course layout to be mostly wide open and flat but numerous nicely manicured bunkers, water hazards and fescue were strategically placed. The greens had small landing areas as well. My strategy was to keep my shots down the middle all the time. The whole course was aerated a week and a half before our round so the green fee was discounted by almost half. The greens were moderately topped with sand which made my putts fast. It also rained moderately for a few days prior to the round so it made for a damp and sometimes muddy round. Half of my shots were plugged so there was a lot of lift, clean and place. I would like to try the course again in dry conditions to see how much further my drives will roll. Despite the conditions, I still enjoyed the layout.

Great course and lay out. The only dissappointing thing was that they had recently air raided their greens and fairways.

Even though the weather wasn't as co-operative as we would have liked and for a course my friends and i always make sure to play on our weekend golf outing. This course offers everything for every level of player.Every time we have played here the course is in great shape the staff are always helpful and a greens crew that is always considerate of your play while they work.This is a must play course for any golfer when you are in the Falls. Truly a good golfing experience.

If your looking for a nice challenge then Battlefield is a course you should put in your rotation of courses to play.

I played this course for the first time.

There was a change and it was fun.

When I go to Toronto I think I want to play again.

A beautiful and challenging course, will definitely be back soon. It had rained the previous night making the conditions wet and soft, but nothing the staff could do about it. Practice area was professional and a great accommodation, the staff were exceptional and helpful, and overall it was a great experience.

Booked it on GolfNow for a very reasonable price (and it included a cart). Course is in great condition given the amount of rain fall this summer. Love the way that the holes are laid out...really have to try hard to lose a golf ball in the woods. Good mixture of holes with different levels of challenge. One of my favourite golf courses in the Niagara Falls areas.Looking forward to the next round there. 0:)

Great layout with a wide variety of holes. I very good shape except it was very wet so zero roll which made the course play long.

We have played legends a number of times and it is always a fun golf experience no matter which course we choose. The staff are friendly and the courses are always in great shape. I recommend to anyone who loves to golf, that you take the time to play Legends on The Niagara.

Well manicured course and challenging. Great facility and professional staff. Would definitely play it again.

"If I had a dime, every time I...fixed (multiple) ball marks", I could have earned enough money to pay for my greens fees today.

Okay, so my buddy and I tee'd off at 4:00pm, so the greens were played all day, but it shows you something about the clientele that play this course...ignorant. Lots of tourists pass through here, and apparently tourist-or-not, fixing your ball mark is not something that is done by most.

Secondly, I was not impressed with the Pro Shop staff, who even though I checked in with a VIP rate, required my buddy to use his smart phone to log into the website and book that way. Instead, I called the golf course (while standing in the pro shop) and change my reservation from 1 to 2. Good customer service would have been experienced if the guy behind the counter just gave the both of us the VIP rate, rather than having me call someone is a different part of the property.

The golf itself was great. Not a breath of wind, the fairways, rough, bunkers, etc... were all in great shape.

Great links course with lots of sand traps. Fairways wide enough to be fair but once out of that, the fescue was thick and ball gone. Greens were great on front nine but back was aerated (no notice from Golfnow or course). the course wasn't busy until we ran into 1 very slow 4-some that dragged down the pace; had to talk to half-way BBQ girl to find a marshall to come out to speak with them
