About
Thundering Waters Golf Club, so named for its proximity to the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, has a unique layout that combines a parkland course with the tricky elements of a heathland golf course. There is an interesting combination of drivable par 4s and scenic par 3s that will provide a formidable test for even the most skilled players. The golf course first winds through heavily wooded patches and then finds its way to rugged hills dotted with thick fescue where true links-style holes with deep bunkers and large, undulating greens await you. The layout also features several doglegs and more than 100 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes. Thundering Waters Golf Club was Canada's first John Daly signature golf course.

Sand bunkers are awful.
Overall course was in good shape for this time of year. It’s still cart path only which makes the round feel longer but it’s expected at this time of year. Some of the tee boxes are beat up and the bunkers are not made at all.
Course was great overall.
It was the end of April, but the greens were in good condition, the golf course was great overall, and the pros and starters were friendly.
Great course minus bunkers
This course could easily charge another 30 dollars for spring golf and whatever it is during the summer if they did one simple thing. Do some landscaping n sand replenishing in all the bunkers. The course layout is awesome but man. You gotta make your bunkers playable. Adds value to your course in the long run. Please work on your bunkers.
Amazing
That I repaired an average of 8 ball marks per hole. Yet I only had one ball.

Nice layout
Didnt start off well, while loading golf bags on cart next to practice area, was almost hit by a flying golf ball. The netting is not set far enough from support post and allows the ball when hit into netting to make contact with steel support posts and balls fly back and could injure someone in the vicinity.
We were just missed by a ball. Complained to starter and pro shop. This is a major safety issue as someone could be seriously injured. Course was fun to play and in good shape. Greens are challenging and rolling really nice.
Too bad the bunkers are empty of sand, this would make it a top course in tge area.
