About
Thundering Waters Golf Club, so named for its proximity to the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, has a unique layout that combines a parkland course with the tricky elements of a heathland golf course. There is an interesting combination of drivable par 4s and scenic par 3s that will provide a formidable test for even the most skilled players. The golf course first winds through heavily wooded patches and then finds its way to rugged hills dotted with thick fescue where true links-style holes with deep bunkers and large, undulating greens await you. The layout also features several doglegs and more than 100 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes. Thundering Waters Golf Club was Canada's first John Daly signature golf course.

Great value when you get the “hot deal”.
I love the layout of the course and the conditions of the fairways and greens. There are plenty of high risk high reward shots out there. In addition, you can play the course very short, or very long depending on your caliber of play.
It’s very disappointing that they have let all of the bunkers turn into waste bunker and they are totally unplayable. The bunkers used to have amazing sand in them but now they are just an eyesore. That being said, I will still play the course again.
Poor bunkers
Coarse for the most part was in great shape. Fairways and the greens were in great shape but the bunkers were unplayable.
The course was nice but a lot of really bad tee decks and bunkers had no sand just mud .
Golf Thundering water niagara Fall
Le parcours avait une belle difficulté. Un beau parcours Il était à mauvaise condition, l’herbe n’était pas coupé les trappes de sable avaient de la mauvaise herbe, il manquait beaucoup de sable à l’intérieur. Le personnel était très courtois avec un beau sourire, le lunch au neuvième trou avait une belle variété.
Course is in great shape with the exception of the traps. Traps need conditioning and sand. Can’t play a shot out of the traps without damaging your club
Soggy conditions
Course is tight and tee boxes are all over the place. We played after heavy rain and the course does not drain. Cart path only and wet feet. My ball plugged in the fairway 3 times.
I would play again as long as it is dry. You have to be strategic and it requires accuracy.
Fun overall.
Great experience
The course and staff were wonderful. Hot dog (they have a bunch of food options) at the turn was the best I've ever had on a course. Fantastic. Course is beautiful. Only gripe is the bunkers were terrible. Not sure what the reasons were, but they need help. Rest of the course was in great shape. Super friendly staff.
Soggy and No Beach
This course holds water, drainage is a major issue so cart path only which slows the pace of play drastically. The bunkers are the worst I've seen. There was no sand in them but lots of grass and weeds. Not sure what their game plan is. Last year they were working on drainage for the bunkers but it seems they forgot about them. People please repair ball marks on the greens, it's not that difficult.
