Thundering Waters Golf Club
About
Thundering Waters Golf Club, so named for its proximity to the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, has a unique layout that combines a parkland course with the tricky elements of a heathland golf course. There is an interesting combination of drivable par 4s and scenic par 3s that will provide a formidable test for even the most skilled players. The golf course first winds through heavily wooded patches and then finds its way to rugged hills dotted with thick fescue where true links-style holes with deep bunkers and large, undulating greens await you. The layout also features several doglegs and more than 100 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes. Thundering Waters Golf Club was Canada's first John Daly signature golf course.

Thundering Waters Spring Round
Even though it was a bit soggy & cold the course looked good, greens were well kept, tee decks need work.
Only play here if you got a great deal on the tee time
The play was delayed by an hour to begin with. Course is good but very wet in certain spots. Sand traps are terrible (no sand) and unplayable, goes without saying that there were no rakes in any traps. Groundskeepers are very ignorant, one of them accused my group of being associated with the group behind us that was driving their carts in unrestricted areas.
Overall my group had a good time, but no thanks to the course. Definitely worth playing here if you get a good deal on the price, not worth it for the regular rate.
Great staff great course
We went out on a rainy day with lots of rain the whole week before but the course played well and was very enjoyable. The staff were all super friendly and helpful would definitely recommend
Fabulous layout
Fabulous layout and superb conditions. Lack of upkeep of all bunkers is the only negative feedback.
Fall golf
Always enjoy this course, layout is nice and fun to play, wish the bunkers are properly maintained, like fresh sand instead of hard bunkers, overall it’s still enjoyable round.
