About
Thundering Waters Golf Club, so named for its proximity to the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, has a unique layout that combines a parkland course with the tricky elements of a heathland golf course. There is an interesting combination of drivable par 4s and scenic par 3s that will provide a formidable test for even the most skilled players. The golf course first winds through heavily wooded patches and then finds its way to rugged hills dotted with thick fescue where true links-style holes with deep bunkers and large, undulating greens await you. The layout also features several doglegs and more than 100 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes. Thundering Waters Golf Club was Canada's first John Daly signature golf course.

Nice course
Very nicely maintained course. With the exception of the bunkers. Those were not maintained at all.
Visually pleasing
Considering the golf course is in a residential neighbourhood there was never an issue with a ball potentially hitting a home. Very spacious, quiet & difficult enough to make you try.
Fun course
Good course to play as the layout is fun and not overly difficult.
Would recommend.
Course layout
The course layout was excellent, however the bunker faces are to steep and were washed out. Not enough sand to sustain the slope.
Greens had excessive pitch marks, players need to be aware and repair.
Can be better
The traps are getting better. But still far away of being good.

Course exceeded expectations, fantastic day. Course was in great shape. Plated with my son and we both really enjoyed the day

A picturesque golf coarse. Well manicured fairways and greens. The sand traps were unplayable.
