About
Thundering Waters Golf Club, so named for its proximity to the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, has a unique layout that combines a parkland course with the tricky elements of a heathland golf course. There is an interesting combination of drivable par 4s and scenic par 3s that will provide a formidable test for even the most skilled players. The golf course first winds through heavily wooded patches and then finds its way to rugged hills dotted with thick fescue where true links-style holes with deep bunkers and large, undulating greens await you. The layout also features several doglegs and more than 100 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes. Thundering Waters Golf Club was Canada's first John Daly signature golf course.

Nice surprise.
Thought the course was excellent having never played it. With no rain in weeks our expectations were low but the course is well irrigated and possibly overly wet in low areas but not a problem in our minds. Tight course and lots of iron play. Will return.
Good Day Out
Enjoyed our day at Thundering Waters. All the staff were excellent. Course was in great shape, surprisingly wet fairways ie: water under foot when walking despite dry conditions. Need to play this course regularly to play it well ie: course management. Great day out though. Left lots of golf balls in the woods for those so inclined to look.
Ok course. It’s short, but good. Sand traps are unplayable. (Wasn’t a rain issue, there wasn’t any rain)
I liked the layout and the way the course forced you to consider shot placement.
The greens were in very good shape and ran smooth and true.
The bunker sand was trash to the point that we just didn't play in it.
Overall we would play the course again. I just wish the sand got replaced
Interesting layout
First time here and played with my son.
Biggest complaint was bunkers were like mud bowls with hardly any sand.
Yardage markers on fairway were non existent on most holes. even the old blue/white/red stakes for 200/150/90 yards would be good here.
Staff was very frtiendly, food and beverage was excellent and reasonable.
Great condition, but..
Enjoyed the course and pace of play. The only downside was tte bunkers were a mess, unraked, muddy and in need of maintenance.

Thoroughly enjoyed this course. Beautiful grounds and super friendly staff. It was a pleasure to golf here.
