About
Thundering Waters Golf Club, so named for its proximity to the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, has a unique layout that combines a parkland course with the tricky elements of a heathland golf course. There is an interesting combination of drivable par 4s and scenic par 3s that will provide a formidable test for even the most skilled players. The golf course first winds through heavily wooded patches and then finds its way to rugged hills dotted with thick fescue where true links-style holes with deep bunkers and large, undulating greens await you. The layout also features several doglegs and more than 100 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes. Thundering Waters Golf Club was Canada's first John Daly signature golf course.

Poor bunkering
Nice course, friendly staff, fairways and greens were very soft but in nice shape, however, the maintenance of the bunkers were deplorable.
For pity sake, spend some money on the bunkers
After 3 holes our group agreed to take free drops out of what barely passes for bunkers at this course. Unless you want to break your wrist or snap a club head just don't play out of them. Otherwise a pretty nice course. No doubt will be bulldozed soon as the housing is going to take over.
Great Course Great Staff
We played right after a lot of rain and the course was draining well and played well. The greens are in great condition and the staff were friendly and helpful. Well done
Terrible
Course was in terrible shape. Bunkers had weeds in them. Bunkers were concrete. Staff were yelling and screaming between shots no consideration for people who paid to golf. I am never golfing there again. Just terrible
Love the layout and challenge of the course off the tee and the greens. The bunkers bring down the entire experience, there's rakes, for what l don't know, maybe dig the roots and weeds out?. Score card shows nice white sand . Save your money do battlefield 100% better and although not as challenging, much better maintained. And the garbage in the bush is terrible at thundering waters . Daly would take his name off if he only knew.
