Thundering Waters Golf Club
About
Thundering Waters Golf Club, so named for its proximity to the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, has a unique layout that combines a parkland course with the tricky elements of a heathland golf course. There is an interesting combination of drivable par 4s and scenic par 3s that will provide a formidable test for even the most skilled players. The golf course first winds through heavily wooded patches and then finds its way to rugged hills dotted with thick fescue where true links-style holes with deep bunkers and large, undulating greens await you. The layout also features several doglegs and more than 100 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes. Thundering Waters Golf Club was Canada's first John Daly signature golf course.

Golf course
Was in good shape for early in the season and we rode the fairways!
Great course - staff terrible
This is a great course. Really loved playing here however the staff working are absolutely miserable. First impressions are everything. Get the staff to have attitude check done. Plenty of great courses in niagara....
Thundering Waters
Course was in good condition and provided a good challenge. Pace of play was good and starter was very organized. Only negative was sand was in poor condition. Needed to add more and have some consistency. This is particularly important as there are a large number of sand traps on the course.
Great course- crappy staff
The people working at this place are miserable especially inside the pro shop. Not the best first impressions but the beautiful course makes up for the of basic customer service.
First time
I expected a far better experience. We were told carts likely won’t make it a full 18. Could not get food.
Poor marshalling.
Great place to golf!
Some of the tee blocks and fairways are chewed up but what do expect when everyday theres a lot of golfers out there. Definitely recommend coming here. It is a really nice course. The greens are always in great shape. Love it here! Thanks to all the staff here they are very nice and friendly.
Nice Course but wet
The course was quite interesting with a good combination of long par 5 and deceiving par 3. There are enough blind holes to make it interesting. However, the condition of the course is somewhat wet although there wasn't much rain in the previous 3 days or so. It is a pity that some part of the fairway was somewhat destroyed by the water.
It's OK to play there occasionally but not very good value for money.
