About
Thundering Waters Golf Club, so named for its proximity to the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, has a unique layout that combines a parkland course with the tricky elements of a heathland golf course. There is an interesting combination of drivable par 4s and scenic par 3s that will provide a formidable test for even the most skilled players. The golf course first winds through heavily wooded patches and then finds its way to rugged hills dotted with thick fescue where true links-style holes with deep bunkers and large, undulating greens await you. The layout also features several doglegs and more than 100 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes. Thundering Waters Golf Club was Canada's first John Daly signature golf course.

Fun course staff was friendly and helpful. Course layout is weird I don’t think I’d want to walk this one cart is a must! I would definitely play it again
Course is a bit short
Although the layout of the course is goo, I would like to have played it when it was at the original length. There are too many short hole even from the Daly tees.
Excellent but
Stay on cart path - grass cutting guy will yell at you for driving golf cart on hot summer dry ground
Swimming pool traps
Course was great other then all sand traps were complete swimming pools. Will happily play here again and buy back all my unretreiveable balls..
This course is good
Unfortunately one of mr players had an accident on his way to the course and did not make it. It would have been nice to receive a refund or voucher as I had to pay for an empty spot.
Great visit. Very friendly bunch. Rained out after 11 holes and got nine hole rain check. Next day with under par they couldn’t get us on.
Excellent experience overall. Talk to starter about your plans so you are disappointed later when your trying to use your rain check or extra play. The young lady that helped me was with my reservations was “top drawer helpful. She even gave me a call to let me know she had an opening for a third day and let me cancel it if it wasn’t needed. Thanks for making it easy!
Short but Challenging
A fun course to play. Not long however some very tight landing areas and narrow fairways. Course track is a bit hard to follow, they course use a few more signs. Got lost twice.
Will definitely play again.
Big disappointment
I have played this course several times and it was a favourite. This time, after not having played there in a couple of years, I was extremely disappointed. The greens were extremely slow,. The sand traps were hard and grass infested. They have obviously not been maintained. The fairways were cut but had large chunks of cut grass all over. We had a late afternoon tee time. The main cafe was closed by the time we finished nine and the half way house closes at five. No beer available and no food. Not worth the money. I will not be back.
