About
Winchester Golf Club is a short and sweet 5,200 yards from the tips. Those looking for length will have to go elsewhere, but if you want a quick round, this course can be played in less than four hours. The course is situated among Brooklin's gently rolling hills, which are covered by forests that are part of the Oak Ridges Moraine. The player-friendly layout is ideal for beginners. It is also a great place for kids to learn how to play. The golf course is not difficult by any means but it provides good practice. There are a few challenges spread throughout, including a fair number of bunkers bordering the greensides. Its forgiving nature and risk-reward opportunities make it a great place for golf tournaments as well.

I play here about once a week. Narrow fairways, so often incoming balls occur. I like the course and great staff. Ninth hole is dangerous to get too, Tee is off a cliff, then you walk down a steep partial broken paved, dirt path...very tricky to manoeuvre. Would like to see regular marshals, yesterday was bad. A group of 12 high schoolers were in front of us. 6 powercarts in tandem racing around together up and down hills. At one point a set of clubs fell off and got run over by cart tailgating. I told the bev cart girl to summon the Marshall. I never did see him. It's first time I've seen behaviour that bad, usually pace there is ok. Very hilly so a challenging walk, most take carts. All in all it is good value.
fun windy day
Shoot your best round, or fill your card with triples. Depends on your tee shots and luck. Lots of birdies available with short par 4's but don't get too greedy or the tight fairways come into play. Short par 70 but a reasonably tough walk.
Course interesting but poorly laid out.
The course is interesting and somewhat challenging but very poorly laid out making several of the fairways in fact dangerous, with balls coming from several directions. The course condition was also poor and we had to wait to tee off on every holes and on our approaches to the greens. Will not play that course again.

tight short course
Good value, less than 4 hour rounds weekdays.
Easy course if you are straight. Double bogies all over if crooked.
Nice Short Course
Well kept nicely designed short 18 that offers a few challenging holes. Hilly layout offers some interesting holes, but may not be an easy walk for some. But the price with a cart using a Golf Now Hot Deal is quite a bargain. I play this course a few times a season and have never been disappointed.

Short course
The course was very short. Most par 4’s were under 300 yards. It was fun though. Greens were quite bumpy because of recent ariation.
I’d play it again only if I got a better value or hot deal.
Tight course terrible tee off conditions
Everyone is really bunched up on the course not much privacy between holes away from other groups. The tee offs are in terrible conditions an have been for a really long time.
A good course for ALL clubs in the bag !
Staff are always friendly and helpful..
Course was in good shap considering winter just ended last week.
Great value for the money and you can use just about every club in the bag ..
