About
Winchester Golf Club is a short and sweet 5,200 yards from the tips. Those looking for length will have to go elsewhere, but if you want a quick round, this course can be played in less than four hours. The course is situated among Brooklin's gently rolling hills, which are covered by forests that are part of the Oak Ridges Moraine. The player-friendly layout is ideal for beginners. It is also a great place for kids to learn how to play. The golf course is not difficult by any means but it provides good practice. There are a few challenges spread throughout, including a fair number of bunkers bordering the greensides. Its forgiving nature and risk-reward opportunities make it a great place for golf tournaments as well.

Excellent Pace During The Week
Shorter par 68, but some fun holes. Played on Monday of a long weekend in 21/2 hours. Fair course for every level of golfer.
Storm damage
The course sustained quite a bit of storm damage on the back 9. One of the bridges is out requiring a precipitous drive down a steep, slippery sandy path in the woods. There needs to be more signage as to where the next hole is. There were at least 4 holes on the course where it is confusing where to go next. The salmon are running, piling up at the dam where there is no fish ladder. This they die and decay creating a smelly area near the 10th hole. However; the greens were in good condition and the staff were friendly. We got an excellent price on Golf Now; it was disappointing to see the course condition deteriorated so much since we last played about 10 years ago.
Wonderfull challeging course
We like Winchester because it provides a varied number of holes and is suited for beginners and more advanced players. The greens were in very good condition and staff are friendly.

One of the poorest designed courses I've ever played I forgot why I hadn't played it years Fairways were in poor condition only saving grace was the greens were in great shape the whole course was full of geese and goose droppings will not play there again. There are a lot of better courses in this area for the same price.

Well maintained short course for a casual relaxing round. Friendly staff. Great value. Would definately play it again
Good local track
Played here half a dozen times. Layout can be confusing the first time, more signage is needed but other than that great value!
