About
Port Colborne Golf & Country Club sits just minutes from the banks of Lake Erie. Founded in 1929, it originally opened as a nine-hole course and expanded to a full-length course in 1964. The golf course has matured beautifully over the years with help of major renovations to the design, irrigation, and drainage systems. The layout has rolling fairways that are lined with trees. It is still highly walkable though, since the undulations in the landscape are gentle, which is not to say it does not have its challenges. There are five water hazards and 13 strategically placed sand traps as well as smaller greens that demand accuracy. Port Colborne's practice facilities include a driving range and a putting green with a practice bunker.

nice course
nice course would like to play it again. fast greens
Course always in excellent condition
We rode this time but a great course to walk. They keep the fairways and greens free of leaves for this time of year.
Fun in the Sun
We had a great time at this course. The course was in very good shape. We try to play at least once a year.
Worth the drive. The only problem this time of year is the trees are losing their leaves and if your in the rough it can be tough finding your ball.
Overbooked tee time
We were 5 people that were booked for the same tee time of 5:22 & people that were booked after us teed off before us.

Considering the very dry conditions the course is in great shape. Fairways are plush green and greens are in great shape. Great value for the money.
Finally
I really like this course but the drive is a little far.Will play here a few times a year. Had my first hole in one after 45 years of playing, partners were more excited than I was. Now I may play here more often. Top 5 course in Niagara. By the way, used a 6 iron on #12.
Great Day
I booked through Golf Now 2 days before as a hot deal. It was great! My foursome thoroughly enjoyed the golf, the condition of the course, despite the recent lack of rain, and the price was well worth the half hour drive. We even had a great lunch afterwards, with fast, friendly service. The clubhouse sandwich was the best I've ever had. We will definitely return, hopefully this golf season.
Great Course
Love this place! Friendly staff, well laid out, other players are always considerate, cooler bags available for the cart. Pro shop even gave my father in law 2 cleats for his shoe! Bif thumbs up, guys.
Excellent Course Conditions
I just finished watching Jimmy Walker with the PGA Championships at Baltusrol, and the greens at the PGA event were not even is as good conditions as the greens here. I don't know how much water they use, but I don't care. Everything from the greens to the fairways is lush and green.
The entire region has had a horribly dry summer, but it doesn't look like it's affected Port Colborne CC.
The only negative of today, was the booking process. I booked using their website, for a buddy and me to tee off at 730. We get to the first tee, and a member's group of four was annoyed that they were bumped, by the ProShop staff, because the computer system double booked a tee time. We were then politely hit at on two separate occasions, without "FORE" warning. This is the type of action of children, not grown adults. Real Classy.
If you want some of the greenest, healthiest fairways in the Niagara Region, stop here. The conditions for this price is unmatched.
PCGC
This is an old course which is well kept. They have lost a lot of trees over the years and are currently raising funds to replace them.
They staff are very accommodating and courteous.
I always enjoy myself on this course.
Very nice set up
The course was in great shape especially with te weather this summer. Very tricky layout with lots of trouble if your ball isn't on the fairway. Very enjoyable round that makes me want to come back to face the courses challenge again.
