Reviews
great layout for a fantastic price
price was right, course is in great shape, tough course with windy conditions, friendly staff, expect 4.5 to 5 hours to play, greens run true and are tricky to read, 4 sets of tee blocks makes it playable for all levels, strongly recommend you give this course a try
good layout, indifferent proshop
DO NOT play on Thursday afternoons!!! They have an organized 9 hole game for members and woe betide you playing behind them. Got stuck behind the owners son and his buddies-All 4 read the greens from every which way like they were playing for thousands of bucks. (you'd think they would know the greens, son of owner and members event every Thursday?).
Very frustrating. Repeat-DO NOT play on Thursday afternoons!
Fabulous Track
Course was in great shape--layout was outstanding--allowed you to spray a little and recover, but not too far. Greens were tricky and very fast. Lots of deep traps and water
golf Now deal =Great! Top shelf course!
Always a challenge. Picturesque! Wonderful club house.Great Food!
Excellent links course
Some long par 3 & 5's, wide open course, 9&18 coming back to clubhouse beautiful setting over water
Great course, great shape, great deal from GolfNow. Must play!
Supper links style course, very challenging. Tee blocks are good, greens are fast. Fun to play. Great views too!
cheap, challenging course
Could easily charge more for this terrific course, the best value I've experienced so far. This course has everything a golfer would want.
Being you A game to this Awesome set of links!
Hunters Point is one of the best courses in the Niagara region. Links style with penalizing fescue.
Plenty of break on the greens.
Hole number 12 could be one of the hardest par 3's around.
It's like Mother Nature always has the fan on there too.
Sweet track!
Nice course - horrible pace of play
Course was great - definitely very challenging, and in good shape. Staff was friendly in the pro shop, restaurant and on the beverage cart. Only issue which was a constant annoyance was pace of play. As a twosome, our round took over 5 hours to complete which made it impossible to get in any kind of rythym. There were marshals on the course, but it didn't appear they were doing anything to help the problem. NOt once were we offered to play through the foursome in front of us, which leads me to believe the whole course was backed up. Perhaps they need to spread out their tee-times more? Hoping this was an isolated incident.
A course I enjoy playing alot. Staff is very cordial.
Played course in early May condition was excellent even after a heavy rain the day before. Pace of play was good with just playing a twosome never had to wait. Staff was very friendly and willing to go out of there way for you to make the experience a memorable one. Would recommend highly to play this course challenging for all levels.
Very impressed and definitely have to come back
Opening day with high winds, rain and cold temperatures so course was empty and played super fast. Hard to judge as conditions were not normal.
But, this was first time playing here and it was highly impressive; in peak season, this course has to be pretty amazing. Routing is great and a really nice looking links course (views of the canal would be awesome if ships are there) that was challenging enough and not tricked up at all.
We are definitely going back to try again duirng nicer weather conditions.
Great course great time.
There nothing bad about the course other than I am not that good.
The course was in great shape
For this time of year every aspect of the course was great the greens were true and fast bunkers had lots of sand and the fairways were lush
Amazing Condition
The course was in fantastic condition from Tee to greens. Bunkers need work, but it's April and we haven't had a spring to speak of. The greens rolled beautifully. If you are going to play here, there is no shade so if it's hot bring plenty of water and the wind will always be a factor. There are large, undulating, fast greens and plenty of fiscue off the tee. The par 3's are very challenging and scenic as are both the 9th and 18th holes with a huge pond between them.
would be a very difficult course in any kind of wind
will play it again for sure as like the challenge and enjoyed the entire outing.
A great value for the money. Very well maintained, very challenging and super friendly staff.
We played early in the season in wet and windy conditions but the course was in very good condition for the time of year. The food at lunch was excellent and all staff that we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Would love to play again under clearer skies.
great scottish link
A Graham Cooke design
Great scottish link design in great shape fun to play and challenging.
Driving range is iron only too bad
No trees to get into trouble with
Great course well maintain and priced right and also being a senior the tee boxes suit me
This course has a great links style layout
very tough par 3's in the 200 yd.+ range and a couple very challengeing par 5's over water on third shot from the back tees. The course has also gone back to its old name Hunters Pointe
course in great shape and very challenging.greens super. slow play
The only drawback on the day was it was cart path only and the paths are along way from the fairways. One member of our group has knee and ankle issues but the staff did supply a flag so he could drive on the fairways. The course is challenging and pace of play can be slow at times.usually 4.5 -5 hours to complete
