Fairways Hard. Nice greens. Played in the wind again.
Great day!!!
Fairways were in good shape, but the greens were very thin and fast.
The tee boxes were bunched together so not sure if the yardage was correct.
Great Course/Terrible Management
I played late afternoon on a Saturday. Two tournaments were wrapping up and pace of play was horrible. There were groups playing as eightsomes and more. A local said there are no Marshalls after 3pm. Great course but avoid weekends at all costs
Still Winter conditions, but almost ready
The weird weather pattern still have Southern Oaks in winter conditions. Lots of bare patches and dormant bermuda grass. Still a good layout, fun holes, and the greens were in good shape as usual. Pace of play was a little off due to a group in front far overestimating their distance capabilities. Rate was good and I had credits to use. I drive 54 miles to play here about twice a year.
Give this course a few weeks and it should start to green up and grass to grow in rough and fairways. Still a good value regardless.

We had a great time on our round. Will definitely go back. They have done a lot to improve the facilities.
Good Track
Overall great layout. Don’t play from back tees unless you’re a 6 Handicap or less. It plays plenty long n tricky from whites and I’m a 8.
Great Course!
Challenging but still fun to play. Friendly staff, very clean facilities. If I can make a suggestion, there needs to be more restrooms on the course.
