About
Coyote Ridge Golf Club, opened in 1999, features some unusual holes that traverse a variety of unique terrain. Each nine is strikingly different -- the front plays through a burgeoning residential community, is generally wide open and void of trees, and takes on the characteristics of a links-style course.
Water comes into play six times on the front, including the extremely difficult ninth hole, which doglegs left around a lake that stretches all the way around the green. Survive the tee shot by bailing right if you have to, but consider laying up on the approach since the water bends all the way around and surrounds the green on three sides. You’ll still have the chance for an up-and-down par, and playing for bogey is much better that rolling into the turn after a double-digit disaster.
Also on the front, No. 7 is a fun par 3 because of the 70-foot drop in elevation. The tee shot goes 165 yards over water into a very wide, challenging green.
Coyote Ridge Golf Club's back nine rolls through an abandoned rock quarry along the Trinity River, featuring more trees and elevation changes.

Great course a little costly considering the other options in the area. During the week I think $72 is high.

Excellent course to play now
Course is in better condition than when I played it during the hot summer. The cooler weather and rain helped. The greens are in good condition and the front 9 fairways seem wider relative to the back 9.
Be sure to view an overview of each hole before you play since hole #10 layout can be a little confusing. Finally, the inside and men's locker room were extremely clean. Highly recommend to play this course if you are in the area.

Love The Course
Great course for the money, made a tee time from Golf now and played 18 holes for $14. Fairways were a little hard but the course is very well manicured and the layout is creative and offers a variety of shots. This is quickly becoming my “home” course as a new resident to the Dallas area.

Fun course
We had a strange time checking in since they didn't have a couple people's reservation but once that was worked out, we had a great time. Course was in great shape and challenging. I had not played there in a while and will be back.

Overall great course, the staff are super friendly helpful. I got there early was in the first group off we played at a good pace.
The course is in super shape the greens rolled true and were fast which I prefer.
I think the price is a little high for the area as there are other tracks in the region similar conditions but less costly.

Fun track
Greens rolled well. Fairways were a bit baked out in spots. But that is to be expected with the heat and little rain we have had. Pace of play was good after playing through 2 groups.

Good Shape For this time of year
Overall course is in good shape after a long summer. Greens are always good, but fairways had a few thin spots. Played as a single in 3.5 hours with a few foursomes ahead of us. Hope to get back a few more times with the weather starting to cool down.

Midweek Getaway
Staff was friendly, and the course (fairways and greens) was very playable. The pace of play was slow for some unknown reason. Players’ assistant was present and tried to keep the pace from getting any worse. Sometimes it just happens. Nonetheless, I would play again.

Strategic golf course
Coyote ridge forces you to think about positioning off the tee. If you want to bomb the driver this course isn’t for you. But if you like shot making and variation you’ll love it. 3-iron was my most used club off the tee and only once did I wish I had hit driver. Not an overly long course, your positioning and execution into complex greens is paramount. Course condition was good. Bermuda greens. Staff was helpful. Sent us off on 10 to avoid a large group from a local high school teeing off on #1.

Great layout
Played here many many times over the years. Love the course, love the people and clubhouse. Always an issue with pace of play...didn't know was playing behind some pro guys that needed more than one off the tee....every hole! Never saw Marshall, but have grown to know that's the way it is on the course.

Great layout. Could use a pep talk to the cart girls since I couldn’t get a single drink on the back 9. Resorted to sobriety and impacted my golf game.

Great value and challenge
Coyote Ridge is two courses, the front and the back. One is open with well-bunkered greens and fairways, the other is tree-lined with lot's of hills and tight fairways. Greens are large and complicated. The grass was in good shape for mid-August. Loved playing it today.
