About
Coyote Ridge Golf Club, opened in 1999, features some unusual holes that traverse a variety of unique terrain. Each nine is strikingly different -- the front plays through a burgeoning residential community, is generally wide open and void of trees, and takes on the characteristics of a links-style course.
Water comes into play six times on the front, including the extremely difficult ninth hole, which doglegs left around a lake that stretches all the way around the green. Survive the tee shot by bailing right if you have to, but consider laying up on the approach since the water bends all the way around and surrounds the green on three sides. You’ll still have the chance for an up-and-down par, and playing for bogey is much better that rolling into the turn after a double-digit disaster.
Also on the front, No. 7 is a fun par 3 because of the 70-foot drop in elevation. The tee shot goes 165 yards over water into a very wide, challenging green.
Coyote Ridge Golf Club's back nine rolls through an abandoned rock quarry along the Trinity River, featuring more trees and elevation changes.

Country club feel
This is the best value in the Dallas/Ft Worth area! This course forces you to use every club in your bag. The greens are true and very fast. The clubhouse and pro shop have everything you would want.

Always a pleasure to play at Coyote Ridge
This course seems to always be in good shape (barring that it rained hard the day or two before because it can flood a bit on a few holes). The greens roll true and are quick. This is one of the more challenging courses in the area.. plenty of areas to get into trouble. I would say on average i score 5 shots more here than i do anywhere else. Always fun and i have never really had a super long round, always 4 hours or less.

Best Course in Dallas
Large parking lot, easy access to the clubhouse/pro shop, practice area and range are in view as you drive up. Pro shop and it’s staff are top notch; very friendly and plenty of gear available. Everything from the restroom/locker room to the dinning area and bar, very comfortable and always kept very clean. The practice area is not huge but offers plenty of opportunities to work on your game or get ready for a round. The course is challenging, narrow in some areas but forgiving in many places. Water and bunkers in plays or bush-trees that will swallow up balls. The front 9 is almost a completely different course compared to the back, you’ll see. I love the greens, always fast and sometimes hard to read. You definitely want to stay below the hole. The cart girls are very friendly and you will see them at least 2-3 times a round, which is great compared to most courses.. also the bar is convenient at the turn. This course will play long on wet or windy days, but it will always give you your money’s worth. Highly suggest this course to any golfer of any skill range, it’s a beautiful design and worth every penny.

Great layout
Fun course to play. Excellent condition. Nicest pubic course clubhouse in the Dallas area. Good food and excellent service.
North Dallas gem
One of the few Public courses in the area that truly makes you think. Real doglegs, ample traps and fast greens reward use of the whole bag of clubs. It surprised me this first time but I will return better prepared.

Excellent time every time!!
I have played here about six times beautiful coarse, great Pro Shop ,great food at the restaurant and bar, the staff are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back. oh yeah they have brand new golf carts!!

Always a great round
We drive 27 minutes to play this course because it is the closest thing to a true Country Club experience. The course layout is very interesting and challenging. The course is always being improved. The price is fair. The pace of play is fair during the week. Food is excellent. Pro shop is fully stocked and all personnel are extremely friendly and very accomodating.

Although the weather absolutely sucked. The course was beautiful, the layout was nice. Greens really well kept up and difficult. Staff was extremely friendly and went the extra mile to bring us a cart when of our group member's cart lost power. Can’t wait to be back. Thank you

Wonderful course!
This is a fantastic course. It's in great conditions with some challenging holes. Fairways are pretty tight and the rough can be thick but manageable. Staff was curteous and helpful and the bar/grill is awesome. If you can find this course on a hot deal grab it! Even at the regular rate this course is worth the money.

We drive 25 minutes to get to this course every chance we can. The layout is fun the upkeep is good. The clubhouse and food are awesome. Always have a cart girl.

Great Winter conditions
The course and greens were in great condition for this time of year, and well maintained.
