Coyote Ridge Golf Club

About
Coyote Ridge Golf Club, opened in 1999, features some unusual holes that traverse a variety of unique terrain. Each nine is strikingly different -- the front plays through a burgeoning residential community, is generally wide open and void of trees, and takes on the characteristics of a links-style course.
Water comes into play six times on the front, including the extremely difficult ninth hole, which doglegs left around a lake that stretches all the way around the green. Survive the tee shot by bailing right if you have to, but consider laying up on the approach since the water bends all the way around and surrounds the green on three sides. You’ll still have the chance for an up-and-down par, and playing for bogey is much better that rolling into the turn after a double-digit disaster.
Also on the front, No. 7 is a fun par 3 because of the 70-foot drop in elevation. The tee shot goes 165 yards over water into a very wide, challenging green.
Coyote Ridge Golf Club's back nine rolls through an abandoned rock quarry along the Trinity River, featuring more trees and elevation changes.

Coyote Ridge
When you arrive the clubhouse is emense so you know you’re in for a first class experience. From the golf carts to the range, chipping sara and putting green everything was first class. The golf course was in great shape from tee to green!!! The beverage cart was around quite frequently and there was plenty of water on the course. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a must play if you’re in the Dallas area!
Quite good course
Expected lots of water hazards which I’m scared of, but just like average other courses.
Overall it’s pretty good maintenance except some of the greens were not evenly cut and certain part were very slow while others were fast. Also many near edge of green were muddy.
Review
The rental clubs were crap. But the rest of experience was top shelf. The layout & course condition were worth the price of admission. If you are in area give it a go.
Hot value.
Course is in very good shape. Paid $60 prime time via GolfNow app at 10am.
Felt like we were the only ones on the course. I’d much rather play here than have to get slowed down on other more frequently played courses like Ridgeview Ranch.
Excellent!
Favorite affordable course I’ve played so far since I’ve been in DFW. Greens and fairways were in great shape. It would be nice if they would rake the sand traps in the mornings. Especially since I spent so much time in them! Lol
First time on this course
Beautiful course, in great condition. Great clubhouse and attentive cart service on the course. Not too busy for midweek and hot weather. Plenty of drinking water and facilities available during play. Love the layout, definitely would play again.
Always same condition
It's rarely easy to manage the course, but always maintaining the same condition means that you don't save that much money. And the green fee is formed higher than other places, but it is worth it. People who can afford it come and generally have good golf manners. Some golf courses have no concept, so players ride golf carts into par-3 holes. It's very basic, but the first reason it's not followed at all is that there's no system. Those kinds of people should be blacklisted with their names and contact information so that they can never enter the golf course again. And if you make a divot on the powerway, you have to repair it again, but it's very unmannerly to just hit it, but I'm glad there aren't such people here at the golf course.
Fun Course
Course in great shape, greens kinda slow though. Interesting layout.
Great condition!
Played this course with a buddy in mid July. The course was is great condition, quiet surroundings, and wasn’t a difficult course. Will definitely be returning to play again.
