The Golf Club at Texas A&M

Another great day on the course. Ended up teaming with a visitor for a very enjoyable round. Always glad to see strokes per hole drop and fewer lost balls. The course is in great shape and greens are running true. The new carts are great and no GPS bugs, thankfully. Keep up the good work and looking forward to next outing.

Be prepared for Texas summer. Course is in great shape and greens are true and fast. The new electric carts are great. Staff are friendly and helpful. This is a must play course and golf now is a great help. Enjoy the round and take plenty of water. Save the beers for after the round, this heat takes a toll. Just saying.

Course was in good shape. Staff was very friendly when we expressed our feelings about cart malfunctions. Being by Texas A&Ms campus was cool!

Very nice course for the price. Staff was very friendly. The starter was very helpful about detailing the course for us. Only negative was the restrooms on the course were filthy.

A big shout out to the staff. Cart had a flat tire by #2 tee. We were provided another promptly. Only one group played thru. The course is in great shape. Greens are smooth and true. Look forward to next round. Thanks!

After the recent storms I was presently surprised. The course was in great shape and greens soft but true. Maintance staff attending to make a great experience. Hats off to your efforts. Bunkers looked rough, but without getting into one I have no opinion. Look forward to playing again.

Truly enjoyed this golf course, will be playing it in the future.

As many amenities associated with A&M, the golf course is amazingly fun. Very well kept fairways, challenging bunkers, tall grasses off fairways and waters,

Course schedule sometimes falls severely behind (30-35 minutes), which is a major inconvenience if you have close to the last tee time. Doesn’t take away from the overall experience. Will continually come back to play!

There was a threesome with 3-4 groups stacked up before we finally skipped ahead of them. Otherwise the course looks OK, still sand on the greens a month after punching and sanding them.

If your going to play in this kind of heat. Water is a must. No body wants to watch you slam beers and stumble around thru the back nine.

A thunderstorm had a bullseye on the course the other day. The maintenance staff has done a fine job of getting it back into playing shape. Greens are a bit fast, but summer time conditions. The cart girl was around for keeping players hydrated. Pace of play was a bit slow, however this was not the staffs fault. Some people watch golf on TV and think they can play. Well I don't see sponsors lining up to sign ya'll up and your mother and father may be brother and sister, by the look of your swing. Please if you want to play the tips and can't hit it beyond the ladies tee, step aside..

Was on the first tee and the starter was over chipping , looked like I was going to be solo then he comes over and tells me he is pairing me up with these other guys. I’m good at first then tells me to move into their cart that there isn’t enough carts. So I said I would walk then he said it is the weekend and everyone had to be in a cart so I left without playing. Stopped by the pro shop to get a refund and they said they would talk care of it. Still haven’t seen the refund but will see

Always enjoy getting to play this course. With the rough areas having been mowed pace of play picked up. Watching people in knee deep grass looking for a ball was getting frustrating. The course is in great shape and the greens will be perfect in about a week. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Get out and enjoy a round!

First Note: Aeration of Greens!

Greens were recently aerated and sanded which is why the pace of play was amazing. It would of been nice to get a significant discount during this time. Hopefully after a week or two the greens will be in better shape. Regular maintenance and aeration of greens is crucial to keep them in good shape. I just wish there was a better discount during this time, but the good news is that there will not be a lot of traffic in the next week or so. This will give the course a break from the high pressure daily golfers. Can't wait to see them in a couple weeks!

It was my first time to play the course in many years. I like the layout since the redesign. Fairways and greens are in really good condition. Greens roll fast but true. Pace a play was a slow. Back nine was really backed up and I took over 5 hours to complete the round. Had a couple of college kids hit into our group while we waited for the green to clear on a par 4, but we educated them on course etiquette. Staff was mostly college kids that were friendly and helpful. Drink cart came around twice on each side. My only complaint is they are completely cashless, even the drink cart, but that wasn't a bid deal.
