About
Nestled among the rolling hills surrounding Uxbridge, which is just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Mill Run Golf Club offers 27 holes of championship golf and also an 18-hole, executive course. The championship holes are divided into three distinct nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Wheel/Grind Course is heavily forested with many elevation changes throughout. The back nine, the Grind, is Mill Run Golf Club's newest layout and it is also the shortest of the three. Although it is shorter in length, towering trees and doglegs incorporated into its layout demand accurate shot-making in order to do well.

Tight in spots
Course in good shape and price was excellent as I used golfnow reward ... Did have to pay for balls on the range, but was only $10 for what worked out to as many balls that I could hit as there were balls left over at the range. Went as a single and hooked up with a pair of average friendly golfers, but their cart stalled around the 6th hole. The proshop sent replacement after we called, so only one group went by us... Overall good course if you can get a low price.
Very well kept course...some holes really challenging.
Always a pleasure to play here.
Fairway grass could have been a bit longer. Course was otherwise in great shape. Some very interesting holes.
Will play again.
Terrible pace of play
1st 9 was great...2nd 9,,,all the sudden the marshall who had been around 3 times in the first 9, disappeared when we needed him most. We had a 4some in front of us...that was nearly 2 holes behind the 3some in front of them.....turned a 9 hle round into nearly 2 3/4 hrs. When we complained after the round to the Pro shop, they blew us off....told us we were a 2 some following a 4 some what did we expect. Wont play here again.....and I love the course.
Great course and challenging
Played on a beautiful day. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course is in very good shape. Overall enjoyed the round.

Millrun consistently exceeds expectations
Hands down the staff and course exceeds expectations. My wife and I have been a regular public players at MR for many years and it just keeps getting better. This year we've been very busy so today was my first time out at MR. My son and I played. The Service and Conditions as usual exceed expectations. Every year the course conditions are elevated! We played Wheel / Grind today. (They have a great 27...we enjoy playing the Grist/Wheel). The conditions are outstanding, the greens are very receptive, we we're excited to see that the upper deck on the wheel #5 has been recommissioned. I've not played it before but it elevates the interest and aesthetics.

Course is in good condition
We were a 3 some and got paired with a single- all good, he was a nice man. The staff did come out on the 2 hole and ask us to share a cart - they should have done so before we teed of to void the hassle in the middle of play. Also there was a group of 7 young men that wanted to play together- they were scheduled on different 9 holes of play. This all took time to sort out.
But overall once we got owing all was good. We played the Grist/Wheel - both are challenging. The courses are in good condition.
One of the best in Durham
Well groomed. Friendly staff. Great time! One of my favourite courses in the area.
