Mill Run Golf Club - Championship Wheel/Grind Course
About
Nestled among the rolling hills surrounding Uxbridge, which is just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Mill Run Golf Club offers 27 holes of championship golf and also an 18-hole, executive course. The championship holes are divided into three distinct nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Wheel/Grind Course is heavily forested with many elevation changes throughout. The back nine, the Grind, is Mill Run Golf Club's newest layout and it is also the shortest of the three. Although it is shorter in length, towering trees and doglegs incorporated into its layout demand accurate shot-making in order to do well.

Good course; Green-to-tee decks too far from each other
Pretty good golf, plenty of challenges for even the seasoned golfer. However, I think they should've designed the course so that the between-holes distances weren't so disconnected.
Good value for the price. Some interesting holes.
Shouldn't allow walkers on a weekend. There are some long walks between a few of the holes and that slowed down play. Shouldn't take 5 hours to play. Course in good shape.
Great challenge for the $$
Beautiful course in great shape. Challenging holes and very tough pin placements when I played. Will definitely go back for another round. Well worth the money, deal or no deal
Nice course
Course plays wide open in most cases. Some interesting holes challenge your aiming skills. Greens rolled true and staff and members were great.
Great course for a weekend morning
Played on an weekend, we could usually book fairly last minute for early morning tee morning at a reasonable price. Course condition is above average, and the pace is always good early morning!
Very well kept course and friendly staff
This course as always is very well maintained. The power cart is one of the best in Toronto but this time the GPS is gone, may be difficult and expensive to keep. But if you are familiar with the course, the GPS is not important. The staff, particularly the "I am a good guy" starter, is very friendly and entertaining and added a joyful note to start the game. This is a 3 nine holes course and the "Wheel" is very challenging. The first hole (par 5) of the Wheel has been ranked one of the most difficult. The scenery is also very good particularly in the Autumn time. Sometimes Golfnow has excellent rate for this course. Have to send a thank you note to the club house lady as well for the ice coffee as usually the club house does not sell ice coffee but she tried to prepare one and I really appreciate that. You seldom see this kind of friendliness and service in other golf club. Thumbs up for Mill Run.
Course was in decent shape but like in other reviews of this course, there were no marshals on the course on a Sunday afternoon. The group two in front of us was so slow there were three empty holes in front of them and two or three groups on each hole behind them. I guess you get what you pay for.
A great time
Great course, would definitely play it again. My only complaint and it's a pretty minor one is I think the yardage markers are off about 10 yards or so or a club length for me and my playing partner. I play pretty regularly so I'm pretty confident in my distances with each club. A couple occasions we flew the green by about a club length. Again it's a minor issue other than that the layout and the conditions were outstanding.
Good value for the money
Very good deal for $40 including tax and cart. Will go back again for the same deal.
Excellent value
A chsllenge for any type of golfer. Plenty of fairway markers showing the distance to the green for thosd who havr never played the course before. You get spoiled wigh the wide open fairwayz on yhe Grist, then you play thd Wheel and you better be able to plsy tight golf. Had an excdllent time.
